It's pretty easy to tell the direction anyway. If it was an option I wouldnt use it because I wouldnt need it and would rather it not come up on screen but if I was deaf I would use it.

Hmm Maybe some kind of markers(like damage markers)that people could turn on/off to show the ruff direction and distance a gunshot comes from. So three bars on the right of the screen could mean gunshots at close range in that direction, one bar could mean they are further away. That might help with gunshots at least. With communication I suppose if there was some voice to text software that would be helpful but probably tricky/expensive to include. ? It would be good if when people spoke on their mics you could read that. Not sure how you would communicate back though if you cant/dont use a mic and they have text turned off. Maybe if there was some predetermined voice commands that could be used so you push a key and have "friendly" spoken in game/written only to those close enough. So those that just use mics could hear the character saying "friendly" in game with the option to turn that into text when others do it.

If so then like the OP said in the heading.. it was on ANZ1 and I'm saying it started about 4PM Perth time and continued on until I left at 4:29PM. You can read my post and the OP's to get an idea of what they were doing. But yes I do agree it probably is a waste of time reporting it considering how blatantly it was done. He doesnt seem worried anotherwords because he knows he will get away with it. He even said that BE wont catch him because he wrote a script himself. If thats true I do not know, but that is what was said.

Yes I was as well so I can second that. He started with dropping almost the whole server from the sky. I just left that server because of him. He also did something to delete all the tents because my tents were gone after someone asked him to(to delete all the tents not just mine). What I dont understand is why most of the people on that server were treating him with respect. *started around 4PM Perth time, I left about 4:30 from being sick of hearing his voice in side chat. He said he took all the vehicles and spawned them in one place and sounded like he was driving around with many others.

Where I'm from the classification is MA15+ to play Arma 2. This means.. "A person aged under 15 cannot be admitted to a MA15+ film unless they are accompanied by his or her parent or adult guardian for the duration of the film".. So as far as I can tell its fine for kids to play these types of games if a parent is with them and guiding them. I think its ashame when the older players abuse the younger players for simply speaking with a younger voice. I've witnessed it many times in other games and I find it ironic that the older players then claim maturity when acting in this manner. So I think its better to guide the younger players, not teach them to be abusive.

Exact same thing for me. I was killed by a sniper and got the "You are Dead" screen, went to respawn and went straight into the game as if I hadnt died. I still have my zombie kills. I was bleeding at first but it stopped at about 4500 and so now I'm on a beach somewhere and cant even type for someone to kill me. It's been about 20mins and the hourglass has gone down a tiny bit, I think it will take hours and I'm guessing there will be a server restart in that time which will most likely start me at the beginning again. I'm using 1.7.2.5 and 95883 I think. *Just noticed I'm getting cold now so I should die with any luck. Ahh the welcomed warm embrace of death.
