If you ever grow tired of ATV's just go full speed over a railroad crossing or the bridge on the southside of Vybor (made a triple salto there and it landed on it's side, I was amazed I could walk away from that without blood loss or broken bones :P)

Servers don't spawn helicopters, the devs have to put them in manually and the dev that stumbled upon our server was kind enough to put them in and thought 4 was a good number.

Ugh I'm getting tired of all the people that want the starting equip reverted back.... aside from the food & drink spawn rates being borked and the sometimes buggy zombie behavior this patch is awesome. I spent my first 30 minutes looking for a gun, before finding one I got trapped inside of the school/office building in Elektro and I was glad I had been picking up empty whisky bottles so I could get out of this pinned situation. I threw one outside of the building and they started to slowly investigate it, giving me the time and space to continue looking for a gun in said building. About 15 minutes later (after hitting the firestations) I had an m1911 with 4 mags, a DMR with 3 mags and an empty AK sitting in my Alice pack. Point of story: stop whining and be a little resourceful!

I tried to join NL4 a while ago, but when I join it gets stuck on loading, but not the normal loading hang-up I sometimes experience. This time I see the yellowish loading bar about 4/5th filled up and I hear sounds of anything that goes on around me. At first I thought it might be due to the fact I was about a 3-4 kilometers outside of the map, so I tried joining another server (think it was an EU server) but got the same issue. Not the type to give up easily, so tried another few servers until I got in on NL2. Moved myself back towards the regular map area and gave it another shot to join NL4... no success, still the same issue. Respawning didn't help either. Anyone else with this issue? Or does someone have a solution? Would be nice, cause I very much liked playing on NL4.

Do I win this thread now? Probably not... because we crashed all the helicopters, our cars got stolen and in the last pic I died shortly after while getting out of the car (spawned 5metres in the air and dropped to my dead lol :)) And I still haven't found a rage-quit finder...erhm range finder.

No you don't get it... your argument is like saying "We shouldn't hire security to check on everyone because there is a minority of assholes who rob this place." It's a real problem and it needs a fix (granted leaving you char in the game world after logging off might not be the best solution, but there should be something in place that disallows people from insta-vanishing). Also your point about it probably bugging out is nonsensical as well, you remind me of those people who judge something before experiencing it. You don't know how and if it works, so stop speculating. Also we 'pussies' don't complain, we acknowledge a problem and theory craft a solution for it; which is our 'job' as alpha/beta testers.

You must have not been in much firefights with players, because it's nearly everyone who has more than a bean filled makarov to lose that does this. I'm no CoD kid or whatever other generalizing term you'd like to come up with; I don't camp spawns or shoot on sight for that matter and I still want to see this fixed. I usually travel in a group and it's aggravating when someone tries some pot shots at us and find nothing but air when we hunt him down. Also don't give me that bullshit about 'what if my internet breaks down' or 'I have something really important to do at exactly the moment I get into a fire fight'. Where in the world is internet so unstable? Or since when do gamers have lives (that last one was not serious btw). I'd rather die 500 times when my connection fails or by having to answer the door, than once by some exploiter that uses disconnect to travel behind us on another server and get the unfair jump on us. It really breaks my immersion and these days most of the times when I'm in a shoot out with someone and he runs inside a building I don't even care anymore to surround it with my team and clear it using proper communication, because nine out of ten times we're chasing ghosts.

It means they will be spawning inside buildings again o/

He's thinking about this if you read his latest twitter post and I'm all for it. This might actually entice some strangers to coop at least until they get hold of a gun before they can screw each other over :)

Seems the problem is back again, I've been told by my buddies it takes quite a while to get in (~10-20min). Still waiting and it's been about 15 minutes now. If this is some sort of 'fix' for the server hoppers I'm betting it'll work but it sucks :P

1. I seem to be having the same problem, not sure on why some people can use side-chat and others can't. 2. No, they are usually death traps. What I usually do when respawning is making my way to balota airfield, check quickly if there's anything worthy of looting and make my way north to Zelenogorsk and continue north to the airfield (you'll encounter a town or 2-3 which have supermarkets, schools and churches) this will usually get you an alice pack and most equipment to be self-sufficient (axe, knife, matches, map, compass etc.) On the way I usually check some deer stands since they spawn military grade loot as well. When I get to the airfield I tread carefully to check the southern barracks and hope for a nice weapon and if I'm lucky an ammo box. After that I check if there are zombies spawned at the hangars, if there are I usually make my way back south and check the buildings in Vybor again (depending on what kind of weapon I'm sporting). If not I might make the dangerous cross and check the control tower, fire station and northern barracks and the deer stand to the north east of those barracks. 3. Finding people to play with is usually more fruitful outside of the game, but I still make a habit of trusting people (albeit carefully). I think the community on NL4 is pretty decent and not as murderous as other servers I've been playing on, but this might have something to do with the SoH guys I met up with and spent most of my time playing with. I've taken complete strangers along in my hippy van to make a cross country roadtrip while checking out towns along the way.

No I didn't spawn at all, just saw the loading bar 4/5th filled up with the game sound working as if I was spawned. However this issue resolved itself, I can play on all servers again and most importantly my home server.

-amd phenom II 1090t -Sapphire radeon hd 6850 1gb -Pretty much any server I tried (EU, UK, NL) -FPS is low from the get-go, 10-14 fps, location doesn't really matter (happened to the north-west in the woods and near small villages, as well as in the bigger cities of Elektro and Cherno).

I set up a ramdrive for Dayz, but it actually made performance worse. Can't say I'm too bummed out about that since I would have to pay for that ramdrive utility eventually. But let me know what it does for you.

Yeah the FPS in this game sucks, before the patch it was a bit better but still horrid. I am now up to the point I'm just gonna stick my middlefinger up and say fuck this piece of fucktard engine. Thanks for having me waste 25 euro on this crap. Great concept but I won't be back. Rocket - leave BI and join a company that knows how to build a fucking engine, because you have a great idea here, but I'm losing all hope that this turd will run any better in the future.

I completely agree with this! So far this is my only gripe with this game (apart from the bugs obviously, but that's just part of the development process).

Hehe MadDog.... that happened to me twice. Both times sporting a full alice pack and some nice weapons too :( Luckily I value nothing in this game, since it can be gone in an instant.
