they're romoving the bandit skin ???? there seem to be a lot of worrying design choices being made tempretuer being another. I hope the mod doesnt shoot itself in the foot before it grows into somthing fantastic.

I think i might have joined a hacked server (2 bandits and a pile of dead bodies) but now every server i try to join i just start in an endless green field. My last 'save' was in a heavy wooded area. It's very frustrating as had a few days wit hthis playthtough and it's the first time i was doing well. I know it's an Alpha and i may jsut be screwed but does anyone know how i could possible fix this. Thanks IMPORTANT BUG I have no idea how this happend but after keep spawing in the endless field full of bodies (excpet i found they were alive) and bandits i thought i'd let one shoot me so i could restart. They didnt so i approched, and nothing. I THEN RELISED I COULD GO THROUGH ALL THEIR BACKPACKS & TAKE THEIR STUFF I'm guessing this glitch just made everyone in the server spawn in one place for me whilst they were still playing. This is a huge exploit, if stuff goes missing from your inv this may be why

thanks i tried to find east think i failed to find it (no sun), and gave up. Been having a load of bugs like this (vanishing wepons) since the new 8.2 patch ;(

I keep getting 'no responce from server since....' since the new patch anyone else found this. Also do you regain blood overtime? i'm stuck with no food and i keep passing out to only having 2500 blood. Thanks

I totaly agree with the OP realism is always going to be hampered by the medium, things you could do in 'real life' too determin someones chracter arn't in the (or any) game. It's got to the point now were i totaly avoid other contact, and may even jsut start shooting myself if i get the drop, as everyone else does. Killing a human isnt the same as killing a sprite

i noticed in the server browser and on here that there is a new patch / hotfix but how do i keep my version up to date? I'm running Arma 2 & Op Arrowhead via steam Thanks

thanks guys, unfortuanlty the suto downlaoder someone made doesnt work fro me, do i then remove the old version of the mod completly and repalce it with the new one, or is overwritting where needed ok?

thnka yes i figured it out thanks to here (server had it turned off). As far as boot camp goes, Arma 2 is a horrid horrid game for the controls, i made it too about he 3rd chapter a few yeasrs back, a corupted bug ment i couldnt go no further. I thought i'd try it again recently before this mod came out and with a new rig and remeberd why i stoped, boot camp / the boat start is horrid. the worst UI i think i;ve ever seen, but what you need for Day z isnt soo bad. In short dont make people play boot camp to play this game, just have a controll sticky ;)

i'm not sure, but i cant look through my wepons sights either, it jsut zooms. Thanks for the info i'll try that i jsut hope i havnt remaped it, actually i have i belive v lets me climb over fences, bugger. someone else said about a single click of the right mouse button, but oddly doesnt seem to do anything.
