If you're stuck on the loading screen then there's sadly nothing to do but to join other servers until you find someone that works. When you do, join it via Dayzcommander, Six Launcher and (optional) Steam shortcut to see if it works, then keep to it.

Might want to try that out? I play on the same server every day right now, but if you're stuck on the loading screen, just pick a different server and try joining it. It shouldn't take more than a few minutes (2-3) to join a server, depending on the distance between you and the host. Make sure to remember the name of the server you're able to join and stick with that one.

Hasn't been a problem so far. Quite the reverse, it saved me from bandits in Elektro, but sometimes it's quite annoying.

Try adding -CpuCount=# (# being your number of CPUs) in Arma II -> Properties -> Launch Options I did this and ever since I'm free of all lag.

Red text means the item is broken, although I'm not sure if bicycles can break.. can they? The fact that you found them far away from their default spawns indicates someone has used them - they might've been damaged by these players?

Are we comparing ages now? Oh sure, I'm 14, live in Sweden. However, judging by your behavior on these forums (this specific thread, in particular) I kind of doubt you are indeed 17, as you claim to be. And if you are, maybe you should stop playing games and focus on your social appearence and behavior, because it seems to have some flaws here and there. I'm not judging you, I'm just trying to help. Your way of arguing (or communicating at all) is just... patethic, really. You've got to accept that people won't always think like you or believe you, especially if you're turning 18 in one year, which I truly doubt. But that's just me..

BattlEye were being meanies and banned you for no reason at all. I never claimed BattlEye was perfect; I can't see any anti-hacking tools that are (VAC sucks, for example). I was just telling you my opinion, which is that I do think you've used hacks and that you do deserve that ban. If you honestly want people to believe you, stop calling those who don't (and who might will in the future, if you clean up your shit) believe you, idiots, and start co-operating instead. It's serverside, meaning that the error is within the server, not the client (you). Try joining different servers when this problem occurs. Once you find one that works, join it via Six Launcher/DayZCommander/Steam shortcut, or whatever methods you start DayZ with, and see if it works using those as well. When you see the "Loading" text, simply wait for around two minutes. If nothing happens, pick a new server and try there. I for instance happened to find a lag-fri server that only takes a few seconds to join, and now I probably won't use any other at all.. it's all about patience. ;)

Yet you did. Oh, the irony of it all! So, who is "everyone"? I know I've never used hacks in any game, because I enjoy them fair for all. Then again I might just be a dull idiot... But you do admit hacking, using scripts and whatever on all those games you told us about earlier so you probably did use hacks here as well - but why admit it, really? Blaming BattlEye (that is trying to make this game fair for us honest players) is so much easier, right? Or if not, blame your little brother.. that one will never die out. I just love how people who aren't on your side are idiots with no brains, given it your way. You've admitted botting in Metin2 (I've played that game for years, and I've probably seen you botting and reported you), of course people will have a hard time believing you when you claim that you HAVE NOT used hacks/cheats here, even though that is what your ban is for. Stop being so naive and get yourself together. If you want to put some effort into getting unbanned, do so. Or if this (what you have showed) is "effort", in your point of view... well, good luck son.

Howdy. The same day I downloaded and installed DayZ, I also added a shortcut on Steam, in order to start it from there. From time to time when the game freezes at the "Loading" text, I try using either the steam shortcut or SixLauncher instead, and it usually works. A while ago I experienced some huge lag while playing via Steam, so I watched a guide which adviced me to Documents/Arma 2/Arma2.cfg and change GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1000; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=3; to GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1; Doing so would cause the game to freeze at "Wait for host", so I changed it back to default. The guide also adviced me to add -CpuCount=# (# being the number of my CPU's) in Arma 2 -> Properties -> Set Launch Options. Doing so did indeed decrease the lag; I had none at all. However, starting the game via Six Launcher still causes extreme lag, and it only works that way. I've tried DayzCommander earlier today. It freezes at loading, and so does starting the game via Steam. Any way to remove the lag? :( Regards, Q

So I tried via Six Launcher, joined a couple of servers with a negative result. However, upon joining DE123 it was all succesful. It only took a minute or more to join, and I have no lags at all. If I keep on joining this server via Six Launcher, you think that'll work?

Yea, I choose different servers most of the time.. anyway, I'll try shutting SL down after joining a server.
