Someone put a tent RIGHT next to the barracks entrance, too many guns to know what was what, sadly I already had a ASK, G17 and DML so I didn't need any of them. ... Still waiting to find a LMG.....

I treid putting up a tent in a VERY small area surrounded with trees, the tent was put up..... on top of me, bagn, insta-death. I wouldn't mind that much, but I had a ghille suit and a silenced 64 shot capacity bizon with 2 full mags that I belive can only be found at a downed chopper site. Chin up..... Don't... Cry... *Sniffle*

I'd really be carefull about using tents, they can be impossible to put down (the way they where ment to be put down) and the only other way to put them down could insta-kill you. In all honesty I would just flat out never use them.

I'll play with you guys, but I NEVER go anywhere on the map that is not the north-west quarter, everything I need is up there, supermarkets, hospitals (I think), airfield, no bandits and so on. I wouldn't be able to leave that quarter, but if you are ever up there and in trouble let me know :P

Are there any medics online atm? I got shot by a sniper and lost a lot of blood, while running away I got hit by a zombie that knocked me out with a bleed, low on blood and REALLY hungry, it's moments away from flashing, i'm WAY up north, is there anyone near Petrovka or anyone with a chopper that could help me?

That's quite a long drive, if Mojo cannot help me after he helps the other guy i'll take you up on that, but if we can avoid it that'd be good, it'd be quite a bit of fuel for you or a 5 min' walk for him.

I'm not that far from the airfield, would it be possible if you came to help me after? (Petrovka) If not that's cool too i'll just have to wait untill tomorrow.

I ALWAYS try to communicate before resorting to a firerfight..... i'm no fool i know that is not a smart move, but I have been on the recieving end of KoS with no reason and know how much it sucks, but tbh, my main objective in this game is to avoid all human, zombies are easy-cakes. If I see someone with a bandit skin? *Puts away AKS and takes out DML* HEADSHOT - (Unreal tornoment reference) No mercy.

Is anyone available to give me a blood transfusion? I am also in need of 1 food and 1 drink (I can handle it from there) I got caught short by some basterd sniper, first shot knocked me down and lost a lot of blood, as I was running away a zombie hit me and knocked me unconcious with a bleed, blood is at 4k and hunger is moments away from flashing, i've logged out to stop it degrading any further, but I am a LONG way up north and can't travel, that's the bad news. The good news is i'm in a very easy to find place (if you know what you are looking for) from the moment the chopper lands it will take less than 60 sec's to get out, heal me and then leave (I can't see anything else reaching me in time, unless by chance there is a medic nearby). I'm at the east road entrance to "Petrovka" i'm about 10-20 yards away from the "Welcome" sign right next to the road, is there anyone on atm that can help me?

Yesterday whenever I tried playing from DayZCommander it'd come up with the old "Server running incorrect version" (or whatever it was). So I came here for an answer and found out it was DayZCommanders fault, so I started using 6 Launcher and all was going fine... I had 2 tents so had to put the server as my only favorite server so i know where all my items are, I was having the same problem putting up a tent as everyone else and found that "Double tap W with inventory open" to pitch the tent, but I did it and it broke my bones and I went from 12k blood to MINUS 12K blood...... Instant death. I was a LONG way north-west (about an hour or two from the coast), so when i spawned I started the long journey of heading to my body (items where on my corpse I died before I could put them in the tent) and for some reason I was kicked out of the game, didn't give me a reason, just "You have been kicked from the game". And when I open 6Launcher again it has NOT saved my favoriteted servers, so I now have NO idea what server my corpse and therfor all my items are and everytime I try favoriting a server it won't save. Because of that F*****G tent bug I lost my 24 slot backpack, both tents, my ghille suit, my DML, my silenced bizon, revolver, 6 food and 6 water, all but 3 tools and plenty of ammo for each gun. So I will NEVER be using that piece of shit 6 launcher EVER again, but when I open DayZCommander it won't load ANY servers, no matter how I change the filters, everything is up to date it lists 0 servers, so I can't play untill DayZCommander is working again, what the hell is going on with it? And I know this is still in its alpha, so i'm not that mad about the tent bug killing me and stealing all my stuff, but I must say the tent bug should really be a top priority to fix, one of the most useful and quite rare items has a chance of insta-killing you, that MUST be fixed, and the sooner the better.

When it first stated I came here and others where having the same problem (yesterday that is, the incorrect version bug/glitch/whatever it is) and someone said something like "The hive is down" (Whatever that means) so I started on 6Launcher and.... Well you know the rest from there, as I have nothing apart from a revolver at the moment I can play on the ingame browser, it's only when I have something worth keeping that i'll be going back to DayZCommander.

I don't know what gun you had but I just lost a silenced Bizon <-- Found at downed chopper (two full 64 shot mags), a DML (two full 20 shot mags), my ghille suit, my 24 slot backpack, revolver and all the 45 rounds, bandages, medical supplies, food and water you could want. ....All because I tried to put up a tent...... These game killing bugs should be thier top priority. (They might be for all I know, but experiencing and knowing these bugs exsist can really make the game unenjoyable.

Wow thanks guys, just like to say that Ben and Sya did great, the first time i've exsperienced human kindness in this game, he even gave me a water cantten even though i'm good for drink. Well i've got some stuff that would REALLY hurt to lose, I won't even go into it haha, but anyway, i'm to the east of Zelenogorsk, if anyone could help me out i'd owe you big time.

I got bugged in a room full of zombies, I went from 11k blood to 3k :/ I need a blood transfusion, but....... I don't trust anyone, i've had this game for a few days and EVERY single player I have seen has tried to kill me, so i'm not just going to turn up in front of any Tom, Dick or Harry and just hope it all works out, i'll need the word of someone trustworthy in this "Coalition", I sent a PM to Dr Wasteland MD (The creator of this thread) and hopefully will get a reply soon. I've not interacted with anyone since I started this game, so i'm not really sure how to go about a blood transfusion, but I have a few things I can pay you with, nothing amazing but a few medical supplies.

One of the top comments on this video on youtube seems to give some sort of advice for 32-bit systems, but I have NO idea what they are talking about haha. (If you can't see the comment due to vi'd being directed to this site, just go on youtube and type in: DayZ - Better Optimization (Increase your FPS) and click the top option.)

I am by no means pro at this sort of thing, in fact you might call me a "Newb" but after over a week of research I have been led to belive that any in game settings set to normal, low or very low will be processed by the CPU, any settings on high or very high will be processed by the GPU insted. So you can actually split the workload as you see fit between your CPU and GPU to hopefully be able to run everything without reaching eithers max' capabilty. So turning up some of the options may acctually increase your FPS. Your GPU looks to be a little better than mine (mine is the radeon 6770) and your CPU is definatly better than mine (mine is a E6700 Dual-Core @ 3.20GHz each) and i've heard of people being able to play with an OLDER CPU and GPU than mine, they say it doesn't run amazingly, but it is definatly playable, so me and you should be able to play just fine (away from major citys at least). Unfortunatly the game can take quite a bit of tweeking before it runs properly, it is in Alpha after all, there are lots of ways that you can tweek it most of them are listed in the forums. (-CpuCount=#, running in windowed mode, adjusting visabilty, emptieing mouse smoothing, you prob' already know most of them.) My FPS is 10 now (My radeon has not been put in yet, got a G41 express chipset atm), I got it up from a max' of 5 in the wilderness :/ It's a lot of work to get it going, but i get the impression it will be worth it.

It's like playing a slide show with me with about 2-3 sec's mouse + keyboard lag and at best 10 FPS in the wilderness, never been able to go near a town, moving is dahm near impossible. CPU: Pentium Dual-Core CPU E6700 @ 3.20GHz each. RAM: 3GB. Graphics card: Intell® G41 Express Chipset. Motherboard: Packard Bell imedia S1850 OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. I'm going to replace the graphics card with a AMD Radeon HD6770, do you think that will raise the frame rate to playable levels? (Even if the ingame settings were on low / very low.)

Firstly I want to say sorry, I know how many threads there are like this (although this one may not be in the right place) and I can imagine yet another "Will this run with my PC spec?" could be quite tiresome at best, but i've been up untill gone 5AM every day for the last week researching and trying to get DayZ to work and i'm simply out of options, i'm just not computer savy enough to understand, if anyone could help I would put aside one of my kidneys for them in case they ever needed it. Long story short, this is the set up I intend to get for my PC, will it run Dayz with an acceptable frame rate? And will any of the hardware conflict with one another? (I will only be upgradeing my graphics card and am wondering if I will need to upgrade my CPU / RAM / anything else alongside it.) Spec is: MB of RAM: 3GB. Graphics Card: Intel® G41 Exspress Chipset. (Replacing with AMD Radeon HD 6670 2GB) Motherboard: Packard Bell imedia S1850 CPU: Pentium® Dual-Core CPU E6700 @ 3.20GHz 3.20Ghz Windows Edition / System type: Windows 7 Home Premeium 64-bit Operating system. I will be replacing my graphics card with a AMD Radeon HD 6670 2GB graphics card, will my CPU / motherboard be able to handle it or would I need to upgrade one or more of them too? And would DayZ be able to run on a acceptable level with the above set up? Again i'm sorry I really didn't want to have to bother anyone with this, but I just can't understand hardware.

So the only thing that might be an issue is my CPU? Would my FPS be ok if I ran all settings on very low? I'm not really bothered about graphics, FPS takes priority. And if I was in a major city with all settings on very low, would it still be playable? No biggie if so I plan to survive in the wild looting small towns and outposts (so to speak). EDIT: The above questions would be while playing in the best resolution, if you say that would be windowed mode then i'd run that.

I found the "ASUS AMD Radeon HD6770 PCI-E Graphics Card - 1GB" (<--- Copied and pasted from PC world website) It costs £99 so that would be pretty much my whole budget, but would it be worth it considering the CPU is not that great? Would it be a better idea to just stick with the AMD Radeon 6670 leaving me with £50 - £70 to upgrade the CPU? Would that even be enough? Sorry for the constant barrage of questions, but I don't want to get this wrong and i'm quite frugal and OCD so I obsess about it slightly.
