Like everything in life, it's circumstancial and easier said than done. If you see an unarmed player running through the forest bleeding ofc you don't shoot on sight, say hello to him/her/Quina and try to help with a bandage, food, blood bag, etc (although it might be a trap, unlikely, but possible). If you see a unarmed player get killed by a bandit for no reason then ofc you don't say hello, but rather take out the bandit if possible. Suvirors and bandits are the two easy skins to know what to do with, if I see a survivor I will make sure he cannot see me and try to make contact (although I have a bug where dead bodies stand up as if they where still alive, so I find myself doing a John Edwards and trying to talk to dead people :/). If I see a bandit I must confirm it's a bandit and then kill him/her/Quina if possible without risking my own life. Ghillies are the ones that get me, I can't tell whether it's a bandit or suvivor. I am also in ghillie so niether of us know if we are hostile or not, I try to avoid them altoghther. As I was heading to the barracks for a M9 SD I ran right into another ghilled player, we both stopped dead and aimed about an inch away from each others heads so we where ready to fight, but where not pointing the guns at each other so the other player knew that neither of us wanted to fire the first shot. We VERY slowly circled each other 180 degrees, I ran in the barracks and he ran off, first neutral/nice player i'd ever encountered without prior planning. Some complete strangers where riding along the coast beside my in a boat and said on the mic' "Yo buddy on the bike, you need a ride?" There where two of them, one could have easily killed me and taken the bike and hoarded both vehciles for themselfs, but didn't, there are nice players out there, but we are outnumberd HUGELY. If you find a M4A1 CCO SD I would be wiling to trade something for it, all I have right now to trade is 5 satchel charges, but I will stumble upon other stuff sooner or later.

Amazingly, I think the lazer designator is a legit item, I found one in one of the spawn points at the barracks in the NW. I figure it's legit because, why would a hacker put an unobtainable item down? To swap it for a range finder, NVGs or binoculars? Surely if he was a hacker he would have just hacked his own, either way I did find a laser designator, but didn't live long enough to use it :/

I saw one of them in a huge ammo crate at the NW airstrip, then again it had 200 of every gun and ammo so I think it's safe to say in that instance they where hacked haha. And no, I didn't take it.... I took the M9SD and M4A1 CCO SD insted. .....What? Don't look at me like that you all would have done the same thing and you know it.

I think it was just a single chancer who happened upon a URAL that probably belonged to someone else, I doubt it was a medics URAL as it had very little food, water and medical supplies, mainly guns and ammo with little to no tools. I had only had the game 5-ish days so I was still a noob and was not sure what the "right" thing to do would be, but it struck me as something I would regret if I didn't at least try. I was not sure if I should put a thread here when I found it asking who it belnged too, if it where stolen by the bandit from survivors i'd return it, but if I stole it from bandits they'd prob' want my head on their wall, that's why i'm not saying what server it was on, but it wasn't a English speaking server so I think i'm safe haha. What lead me to belive he was a lone chancer who just happened upon it was he didn't have NVGs, to raid someones base and steal a loaded URAL is not something you do in the dead of night with only a torch mounted weapon, that's sucide surely. (I'll give my beans to the first person to make the Airplane referance that i've set you up for.)

I heard a horn and saw a fast moving light in the distance on a road, it stopped suddenly and dissapered, as I got closer to inquire I could see an incredably irratic light, but smaller than the one before in the same area, as I zoomed in I could see a guy running back and forth from the back of what I would later learn is a URAL to the side and fiddleing around, he had a bandit skin, but no NVGs (it was the dead of night). I considered killing him but thought he might not be alone, and with a unsilenced MP5 i'd be spotted easily, and I don't know what gun he had but it was big. I noticed I had gotten with 30 yards of the URAL without him even noticing (in ghillie) and as he ran back to the rear of the URAL I crept up to the URAL and got in.... The passangers seat haha. I'd never been in a vehicle before so I was panicing big time, soon enough I got into the drivers seat and drove away. I went to my pre-determind camp site and parked up the URAL and pitched my tent not far away from it and transfered as much as I could, multiple LMGs, M4A1 CCO SDs, M9SDs, snipers, etc, etc. Next server reset the Ural dissapaered, reset after that the tent dissapered. Easy come, easy go.

Will it be coming up again? I hope so I would really like to know what they have in stock, I don't need much but what I do need I cannot be bothered to search for anymore.

Name's Adam, in-game name "Axz", 24 and I live in England. I don't kill other players if it can be helped, if I see another players before they see me I contact them (typeing, I have no mic') if they don't reply I avoid them, if they do reply i'll help them if needed, but won't reveal myself to them (I have ghillie so they might suspect me of being a bandit, and I don't really trust anyone anyway). I (in theory) kill bandits on sight, i've not acctualy seen anyone with a bandit skin before, but I do not agree with killing others for thier stuff when it can be easily obtained without killing others. I don't want vehicles I am happy with my M4A1 CCO SD, M9 SD and MK 48 MOD, so all I do is hang out in the wilderness and pop to a north-west towns supermarket when I need food and water, that would explain why I rarely enoucnter bandits. Oh, and this might ruffle a few feathers, I have no problem logging out when attacked by a bandit, it took me a long time to get my stuff and if they think they are going to take it from me rendering all i've done meaningless just because they cannot be bothered to go to the relavent area to get it themselfs they can kiss the fattest part of my ass, This doesn't happen very often though, twice so far.

Why didn't you frag his ass? Sneaking up behind someone is a definative no-no, to get within stealing range of another player WITHOUT letting them know you are there has no positive way of ending, turn around, someone's there? BANG. Whenever encountering another player is a possibilty I switch my firing mode from semi to fully automatic on my M4A1 CCO SD and check behind me with 1 / 3 on the numpad in 3rd person mode every 10-20 sec's.

Ah shit I just found one of these, I should have known. Well tbh I lost my M4A1 CCO SD to a bug so i'm not above taking one out the crate to replace it. Other than a few mags, some food and water there wasn't really anything I needed from it, and it was the ingame browser that I joined with and I don't think it has a history (as far as I know) so I don't think I could report it.

I'm sorry i'm a computer noob I don't even know what teamspeak is haha. Last time I used something like that was WoW back when the burning crusade was new :P

I know this is not strictly a medic issue but this is the only place I remember there being a chopper and I was in a bad way before I got bugged and the bug killed me in the process of being healed. And I died and would be getting my stuff back, so it kinda is a medic issue, ah you know what I mean i'm in serious shit and need help, I can't see anyone else but a medic alowing me to ride in thier chopper.

I need someone with a chopper ASAP. I got bugged and all my stuff is MILES north, it killed me and spawned me at the coast. I need someone to take me up there ASAP please, I don't know when the server resets and it's 1:45AM here, VCMedic can confirm all of this.

EDIT: I need a blood transfusion, 1 food and 1 water. I can't travel anywhere but my location is very easily found. I don't have any gas to give you for your trouble, but I have some AKS and G17 mag's if you need any.

Don't invite bandits, that's like inviting O.J Simpson to your wedding, things will only end badly. Or inviting Micheal Jackson to your sons 10th birthday party. Or bringing Gary Glitter along to look for Madaline Macanne. Or getting Joseph Fritzel too.... Nah i'll stop there haha.

I'm not far from you, sadly i'm not a medic and have no blood bags, but if a medic comes to you could you ask them to come to me after please? I'm at the east road entrance of Petrovka a little north-east from you, my food and thirst meter is almost flashing my blood is very low and I have no food or water, so i'm in desperate need of a medic, but none seem to be online atm, if a medic contacts you could you ask him to PM me please? I have work in 2 hours, I would love to get patched up before then.

Killing medics? What could possible justi... .... Oh I see what happened haha, he called for help in order to ambush a medic and got smurfed haha. Seriously, if you want to get butt-hurt, go star in a mandingo movie, not DayZ.

Are there any medics near Petrovka? I've got to go to work before too much longer and am in such a state I can't even log in untill there is a medic near me (Very low blood, hunger and thirst meter seconds away from flashing with no food or water). I have a few spare ASK / G17 mags so if the medic who helps me has either of those guns i'd be happy to give you a few. Been almost 24 hours now, i'd hate to have to go to work AGAIN without being able to play.

I kill ANYONE that just turns up around me, they HAVE to announce themselfs BEFORE I see them, they'd do the same. It was party the guys fault, some guy just materealies behind you asking about your gun, anyone with a brain would have shot you right away haha.
