Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe 100 year old snipers (undamaged of course) are more accurate than an M4. The Mosin remains a sniper and the M4 remains a CQ weapon, period.

As long as they don't add semi-automatic snipers it'll be just fine.

Being friendly really takes a lot of work. It's even harder than it was in DayZ alpha. Back in Alpha I am a Hero in a few servers, bandit in none. Somehow players have become more hostile, so it takes utmost control of the situation to be able to esablish a friendly relationship with a stranger. Being friendly without having a bullet chased through your skull is the purest form of skill in my view, especially in Standalone. As a new player it's probably best to avoid non-bandit players and try to kill bandits by tactical means (meaning not just confronting them head-on, but taking your time and making sure you don't get injured). When you become a "tactical mastermind" you should try being friendly. It's the hardest and most skill-demanding thing in the entire game, so work your way to it.

Some Stanag SD mags for a Ghillie?

So just the other day I found a crashed chopper with an M107 and M249, both with mags. I put them in one of my tents, went away for a trade I was planning wiht some guy and when I come back it's gone (I saved the tent of course). Now I know some of you will say someone found my camp, but no. My camp also holds an L85, M4A1 Holo, MK. 48, etc. Better stuff than what I just found. Now I have an M240 and am actually scared to put it in one of my tents because it might disappear and I can't keep that thing in my backpack forever. I need help!

WOW! I just checked back and saw like 4 of the tank traps i set up disappeared and that i suddenly have two M240's. I remember putting the M240 in my tent, saving it, then noticing my other stuff was gone and I took it out again and saved the tent again. Looks like sometimes the tent simply doesn't register my save, so I accidentally duped it :S Problem solved I guess... I'll dispose of the second M240.

I just said it wasn't full, I know that whenever you put too much in the tent it spawns on the ground somewhere near it.

It wasn't full. Only the new stuff I put it disappears and the same with all my cars -_- Luckily my old stuff remains. I'll test some things with empty cans I guess.

Looking for M240, trading it for MK48 with 4 mags (faster firing, camo, CCO) or an M4A1 CCO SD. I simply like the M240, the only thing that makes it better is range. I used to have one, but lost it due to a glitch, I just want my good old trusty M240 back :)
