A proper tank/IFV doesn't allow molotovs to reach the crew.
-
Being offended by some guy on the internet is stupid, but using offensive slangs even more so
-
Why do people keep bringing up molotovs? Do you think a tank has wholes in it? Do you think they fill with water when it rains?
-
1911 is more accurate
-
If you're online, I'll trade (hardcore) EDIT: just noticed you're in regular

Where's the AKM spawn? In stable? Still don't see experimental servers
-
100 mags are absolute overkill, even for tight corridors OT: good to hear my precious AKM has arrived. My search will start tomorrow
-
Ha, that would be of no use for you with the current dispersion. Unless you're Rambo, that is
-
Yeah, but I still don't like having the suppressor in-game. It gives me the idea that subsonic ammo from the mod isn't returning. Why else would they add the suppressor before SD mags? I'm a bit concerned about that
-
Meh, I wish they'd refrain from making those stupid high capacity mags... Soon, everyone will be running about with drum mags in their AKM
-
It's not the suppressors, it's the ammo. We need rare subsonic ammo for each large calibre weapon, so you can't just slap on a suppressor and silence the gun. Conventional ammo does not only negate the silencing by creating a loud bang when breaking the sound barrier, but it also destroys the suppressor. Makes no sense the way it is now

I'd be fine with it if they're extremely rare (like helis in the mod) and if the ammo is as rare as an AS50 was. .50 BMGs penetrate everything up to APCs, and ruin the tracks of a T-72 in a few well placed shots, so what's the big deal? Also, if they'd make the visibility as low as it actually is in a tank, they'll have a hard time even seeing us. The real anti-player strength of the tanks/APCs should be the MG on the top, which'd require you to be exposed. The only problem is that even once they're disabled, players in tanks can't get killed without a huge effort. APCs would definitely be good

So i have come to the conclusion that dayz really is supposed to be PVP

It's not all about PvP, it's all about player interaction. Be it friendly or hostile -
Good luck finding tank shells. Hell, good luck seeing another player from your tank without turning out and getting shot. If satchel charges, RPGs and .50 cals are added, be my guest and drive your little tank.

I suppose it's somewhat useless to argue about this -
Fixed that for you

SVD, New scope, and silencer CONFIRMED
liquidsnake replied to TheWizard14's topic in General Discussion
It is the bullpup version of the SVD, but it isn't the SVD. Arguably, it's an entirely different gun, which is loosely based on the SVD. Not sure how anyone could think otherwise. -
SVD, New scope, and silencer CONFIRMED
liquidsnake replied to TheWizard14's topic in General Discussion
It doesn't exist because that's the SVU, not the SVD. -

Should've known. Silencers on an SVD... I clicked on the vid cause I actually like the song lol -
Drinking alcohol tincture, disinfecting food, eating rotten food. Some is already part of the game.

There are a multitude of venomous snakes in Russia, so yes please. Would also love to see the venom coated bolts
-
Worked excellently in the mod, will work just as good in SA
-
Why not? Would love to see this and roleplay as a former Russian tank commander who survived it all

I assure you this isn't a fight. I was just curious as to why you saw helicopters as something that primarily coD kiddies seem to support (and I was somewhat disappointed by helicopters being looked at in that way)
