I was watching NWAF with my AS50 just the other day, and there were two strangers at the opposite ends of the airfield, male and female. I followed their movements. I realized as they both crawled towards the fire house, evading the undead and quickly glancing over loot that they were going to end up bumping into each other. I had front row seats through my scope into the open door of the fire house, and I was anticipating a shootout followed by me finishing off the victor. Boy was I surprised. They spot each other and pause to stare at each other for but a second. Then the female survivor's hand rises to their forehead. They were saluting the male survivor. I'm a bit shocked, as the male survivor's hand too rises to his forehead. I stared at them as they formed their instantaneous alliance and began combing the airfield together. I could have shot them both, I considered it for a moment. But no I just watched as you two worked together with a common interest. Because of this I protected you two as you ran across the tarmac dodging bullets from the third stranger atop the fire house. I shot him in the chest from 900 meters away, I doubt any of you heard the shot that killed him. If those two strangers are reading this let me just say. You are amazing.

Getting kamikaze'd by a helicopter? Hacker. Getting sniped? Go cry elsewhere.

Avoid big towns, avoid other players, deer stands are your friend, figure out all the heli crash site spawns as soon as you can.

You can find tents that are guaranteed to have medical supplies in them at Cherno, the tents at Berezino and Starry Sobor sometimes have medical supplies but not always. I'd recommend looking for a hospital rather than medical tents if you need to stock up.

Sometimes I feel blessed that I have enough experience playing this game now that I can obtain NVGs fairly easily.

Running across the tarmac at NWAF to go heal an injured friend with a blood bag, he's unconscious outside the barracks due to shock. (Combat logging jerk, I know) Start transfusing him, sitting completely still when a bullet flies right past my head, then another, and another before the transfusion animation stops and I run for cover behind the barracks. He's still shooting at the side of the barracks, for what insane reason I don't know. I think he was just wasting bullets and giving away his position. Now what I don't understand is why he ran halfway across the tarmac and took a crouch there to shoot at the barracks I was hiding behind again and attracting a crap load of zombies. I calmly peeked around the corner and nailed the idiot with my AS50, enjoy that NATO round in your chest cavity pal!

Mine was when I had just gotten my hands on a M16A2 M203 and I wanted to test it out. So I traveled to the nearest deer stand and shot a high explosive round to kill all the zombies surrounding it. It worked like a charm, but I also saw two deaths immediately following my shot. I run up to the deer stand and there is a couple fresh player corpses next to it. I never even knew they were there.

Killing other players isn't a required part of the game, you can always avoid other players instead.

Considering that all sniper rifles are very rare, I'd recommend hitting up helicopter crash sites since they have a very high chance of spawning at those. Idea area to search is the area north of starry.
