With all the key bindings and everything? No, impossible.

I tend to carry around both the AS50 and DMR. AS50 for day time operations and DMR for night time operations or close-medium range skirmishes. My pistol is reserved specifically for zombie killing. Once I get more comfortable using the DMR I may set aside the AS50 for an L85.

Private servers still have the same vehicle spawns as other servers. Even official DayZ servers have started spawning helicopters.

This is a weapon that cannot be obtained in DayZ through legitimate means, so the logical conclusion is the person they found was a cheater and spawned in the weapon and the explosives used to level the castle. EDIT: The Rock beat me to the punch it seems.

There are plenty of physical ways. Doing the safety dance, saluting, lowering your weapon, aiming away from them are all ways you can show you're friendly.

That's some dick camping on the firehouse, not a sniper. You also chose the worst possible way to try and take them out. I'd go on the nearby hill to be able to take some shots at them. Preferably the one with the haybales.

Change nothing. Leave banditry the way it is. Because there is no problem, which means there is no answer. Why try to fix something that isn't broken by suggesting bandits be penalized for what they do? What many of you are asking for is some invisible and artificial punishment that everyone must undergo if they cross the line from survivor to bandit. Which is often referred to as rules. However, some of you forget that DayZ has no rules. You play the game the way you want, not the way someone else wants. Want to climb that mountain? Go right ahead. Want to shoot that stranger on the road? You got it! This is a game about freedom, not following a set path or being bound by restrictions. Balance? This is the zombie apocalypse. There is no balance. It's not supposed to be fair. The strong devour the weak, someone with a sniper rifle can shoot a survivor with merely an axe and damn well get away with it. This is why I love this game, and if you try to restrict my freedom to make my own decisions within this wonderful cruel and lawless world... Then I will fight you tooth and nail to the bitter end.

You bring up a valid point but the issue is players leaving the game, not whether they are paying for it or not. Addressing the issue of hackers ruining the game should be #1 priority.

Yes, as Dawn says most of the veteran DayZ players have turned bandit as it's low risk/high reward. Though a lot of us are still decent enough not to shoot someone who is in voice chat with us.
