Mountain dew is cursed, if you have one you are marked for death. I only ever find mountain dew on player corpses, and I drink them immediately. The only time I've found mountain dew as a loot drop was in a random shed, merely minutes after I picked up the mountain dew I was shot leaving town.

YES However, just leaning to one side will not work. You need to find a balance between the two. I think what needs to be done is reduce the amount of ammunition you start with to one magazine. Players will be less willing to use up their only mag killing another survivor especially since it takes an entire mag and then some to drop a guy.

Find a pencil, jam it under the 2 key and have it hold down the W key. That's what I do.

I think bandit skins were unnecessary as people who were just defending themselves would get them.

Was camping the NW airfield north barracks, running in and out. I eventually had a DMR, G17, Alice pack, Compass, Map, Binoculars, Knife, Matches, and a Hatchet. I snuck into the barracks once again to find a SVD camo with two clips, I see the shower room door open and I cap the guy as he walks out, I then hear shots behind me and I run into the shower room bleeding. I patch myself up while he has to fight off the resulting zed and there's a few minutes of keeping my iron sights on the doorway. Determined to keep my prize I decide to say "Fuck it." and bolt out of the front door, I hear shots behind me as I run into the treeline. I switch servers and watch the barracks again, admiring my new weapon when I suddenly spot a team of 4 people running around. I was in the grass next to a tree so I was nearly invisible. *Bzzzzt* Wrong, the server had nametags so I heard a series of pops and saw my blood drop to negative ten thousand. The only reason I knew they spotted me using nametags is that one of them were kind enough to explain how they spotted me. I called them a bunch of bastards, then told them to enjoy the loot on my corpse.

Eh, I don't know. They want a cooperative experience, which can be easily achieved by just getting into teamspeak with a bunch of people. I played for a week, died a ton of times trying to find companions. Went bandit, never went back. Life is a lot easier because you don't need to bother with formalities, everyone is a hostile except the select few who you chatter to through teamspeak, cooperating in your hunt for human flesh. I used to pause if I saw another human, not sure whether to avoid thwm or make contact. Now I don't even hesitate to pull the trigger. If you don't like it then learn to avoid or fight us. Stay the hell out of towns, stick to the treelines, don't alert zombies and fire off your gun. A gunshot to a survivor is someone to avoid or befriend, a gunshot to a bandit is prey calling out for it's throat to be slit and it's beans to be stolen.

If you're with a friend I recommend looting the hospitals. Check the roof first for blood bags before you go ahead and shoot the windows open as you'll almost always attract some of the 'locals'. Otherwise, cans of food heal 200 blood, and steaks heal 800 blood. Houses, stores, schools, and other residential areas tend to have matchbooks.

How about if you get infected by a zombie, you carry around the virus with some penalty to your blood. If you die by any means while infected, you reanimate.
