starting half hour was chaotic and good. (that friggin chopper...!) Lost so much gear I had originally, learnt all over again not to trust people even bronies.

whatever is going on Skype... is there simpler Voip thing like Mumble?

I still haven't came across that many vehicles. I guess people hid them away at edge of the map. Got chased by a chopper a few minutes after some server restarted, pretty scary. Also, changed back to civillian clothes and found out i have the "Hero" skin with white shirt. so easy to get spotted... Is there any plan on seperating to groups? I'm guessing most of us don't know each other yet so.

Too bad they took away Side channel (for many servers anyway), I've seen some obvious MLP fans/Bronies names on player lists, but had no way of talking to them. I'm sure they'd shoot me if I approached with only Direct chat (I know I would, from panic or whatever)

From NZ or AUS, we can get most of North/South American servers with ping around 150 to 300. I've never seen UK based servers on my server browser though... (probably filtered out)

I don't seem to have that "Teleport/Spawn back to Coast" issue people talk about, with my account so far? Still, I'll move my guy closer to the coast sometime soon for the meetup. My normal hang out is Vybor, so a little picnic ahead for me.

Some sort of competetion would be fun, but with this mod, it's hard to keep track of anything but your own skin and gear. We could hoard all the zombies? (could of done some kind of Z-killcount comp, but we end up camping at top of towns)

woow, almost 40. We need to basically find an empty server. (wouldn't want to hear "couldn't fit it all in" after all the waiting)

It'll be important, Private server or not. I don't mind giving away L85 or/and AS50 if this'll be on normal server. (I'd rather wonder around with LMG, if I can find it, that is) Possible 30+ players! I'm sure we can find server on spot almost, as long as Teamspeak thing works and everyone stays informed.

Oops, I got a warning for posting insults/racist things, got fished up by troll I guess. Shouldn't have reacted to some poor insult... I just updated to 1.7.2.5 since most of servers seem to have updated anyway. Hopefully everyone has the same version by meetup. Private hive idea seems reasonable? Are there that many with decent latency though? Or player number limits.

Walk around the fields and towns up north of the map, it's a lot easier to get geared up than getting breadcrumbs down south. (in my opinion anyway) I'm still 50/50 on this meetup. Unless government kicks me out of country during next week, I'd really really like to come around.

yeh, I made an account just to post once about script attack, I read some threads but never posted anything myself. From quite active forum user, fresh accounts like us probably smell fishy. Could make some brony-ish thing to say, if you don't want to be seen as undercover griefer, but I guess you just have to grind ya face on forum to be seen as friendly or not (kinda like in-game too) I'm not quite sure if I'm welcome or not. I don't want to waste time moving south just to be ignored. Was gonna join with m249 then lost it to glitch, grrr I think only 100% well known forum bronies get in this, wouldn't want to risk with suspicious accounts I guess. My name is also used for mlp imagesites like ponibooru or derpibooru if Not-Sure-If-Brony thing is going on here

Since I have a netbook next to desktop(for game), I connect good speakers on the netbook, play music or whatever on that, and use headset on the desktop for the game. Key binding for voice chat (continuous, so you don't have to hold down key) should be double tapping Caps Lock if it's still on default. Make sure to change channel to Direct (with < or > keys). If i remember correctly, audio range of Direct channel is around 60 ~80m?

Need a good group screenshot infront of crashed chopper or something if we're to send Meet-up-report to eqd. Better try some recording software somewhere. (I only got demo version and records 10min per recording, and PC doesn't seem to be able to handle that much stuff...) New dayz patch seems to be trial rolling at moment, I hope it won't get in the way? I'm planning on aggro'ing whole town and run while playing Smile smile song on direct channel

As if getting the same gears are that hard if we get killed by hackers... Surely we can all gear up in 10sec flat (or around 20min?) It's a very easy mod/game. We should be able to have chaotic fun if we get hackers, unless the they are boring old simple Kill-Everyone-Trololol-iWin attacks

I'm not familiar with Teamspeak, but I'll try to get on this meetup/running around/dying around thing. I'm over in NZ so time is a bit off, and will have latency issues... (please pick server that doesn't have ping limit like 150, I always get over 200)

hopefully the new patch with Spawn without Mak thing will sort out the new players a lot nicely. It should be more of "Kill for Survival" rather than "lolol I'll just pop them bitches coz I can"

I never made any thread here, so I'll just post this as some kind of warning. I was on NZ1 server provided by ON3 Network today, everyone (about 30,40 I think) was playing, and killing just fine. Suddenly everyone dropped dead where they stood, players going WTF in chat, someone taunted script attacker? so be aware (unless this is already a common known server harassment) Sorry, I don't have any evidence like screenshot. I was just getting all the gears right and set up after days of not playing so it was a little shocking. I hope this kind of weird thing doesn't happen. Ok, thanks.
