  6. When you're experiencing the graphical glitches Press Shift+-(num) type "flush" without quotation marks. This will most likely solve your graphical errors.
  7. I'd like to see "items that we can carry alot" in DayZ The ultimate goal is player creating a trading environment. It could be simple as bottlecaps(like in fallout) or mail stamp, anything small you can imagine. Of course it shouldn't be just 1 type, it would be too obvious. But rather several types of items with different rarity. *How do we carry it? Like ammo. Rocket attempted at bullet tracking system(where server saves how many bullets you have left). Maybe you can carry a little box that can hold up to 20 items? Like a coin purse. *How do we loot it? Sometimes zombies would carry a few. Sometimes you would see a box from the loots that hold few small items.(like ammo box) --------- A Player-to-Player trading mechanic is going to work well with this system. I didn't play such games that had such mechanic except for maplestory. I think Maplestory one could work with this. Other than that, No information given. It is up to players to decide what to do with it. Maybe add several purposes(decorations maybe?) for the small items so it could have some more variety in use. Ultimately, i hope it could evolve into a more fluent trading system.
  8. I'm not asking for a currency-only item. I'm asking for small items that could be used as a currency. It's main use could be for other things.(decorations,electronics,crafting) Current items have fixed value and it's hard to carry. It's hard to actually trade a gun with food(Yeah let's say you can. You're going to carry like 10 foods just to trade for that?) I'm suggesting this in hope for fluency in trading.
  9. I would like to see 'loots on the ground' in DayZ Currently there's a fixed types of loot spawn areas. How about we expand this to backyards or even side of a road? Not necessarily outside of towns. It could be on the backyard of a house, or laying by the road(town roads) This would make survivors actually trying to look for loots instead of just looking for an enterable house. I think that more randomness is crucial to this mod. It could be reasonable ones such as beans, map, coke, etc. Not necessarily a weapon. You can reason that somebody might have dropped it while on the run? For military grade loots, i think it'll be nice if it spawns by a wrecked humvees or dead zombies soldiers. I've always wondered why those bodies didn't have anything lying by them.

The taste seems to be motivate a large number of people to survive. If the Twinkies get to be implemented, the PvP rate is estimated to increase by 257%

    Rocket, before you remove the 'respawn' There are rocky areas in the black lake(near the NE airfield) where you can fall between the rocks and get stuck. My friend experienced this once. you probably should fix that first otherwise people will spam pm you to take them out of there.
  14. I highly recommend NOT to use online map. One of my most memorable experiences are when i explored places i'vs never seen before. When i first saw cherno, a military base of balota, first steps toward inland. Yes it would be much more convenient when you use the online map, but i can definitely say that it will also ruin your gameplay experience. Find a map ingame, it's not that hard. Being lost is a scary thing, but there is nothing more fulfilling when you finally find your way to a town.

    I really like the removal of respawn option It would really encourage survival Nowadays, lots of people just give up so easily and suicide. But you guys have to know that there is nothing more fulfilling than surviving that hard situation. Removing the respawn option would encourage people to at least try to survive.
  16. maybe i've been lucky, maybe not. But i've always wondered why people say everyone is kos bringing chaos. Honestly most survivors were friendly. I had a mic and i've always relaxed the other survivor that imfriendly. I've even persuaded a person shooting at me not to. I would say 60%of players were friendly. This is based on us servers in the coastal cities such as cherno and elek. I agree that inland is a much different story but i can definitely say that coast isn't that heliish place. What's your honest experience about the kos?
  17. Mostly i had weapons atleast ak class. I deliberately ran around looking for survivors and that is the result i came up with. I saw a lot of winc,leeroys, even a ghillie group but they were mostly friendly. Maybe because i was always the first to find them and announce that im friendly. PS:Groups are mostly heartless killers. Avoid them if they werent using direct chat.

    Trust me, not all person is bad as you think you will eventually meet a friend you can trust. It's just matter of how much risk you are willing to take.

    I'm sorry if the thread was written in a confusing way. I have stated that spawning each other could be possible IF only the players are starting fresh.

    Ok. Maybe we could come up with an agrrement where only 5 in maximum could spawn at a same time. you are right that loots would be swept away, but isn't that the advantage of group play? They will eventually team up and go for a loot run, i don't think it will make a huge differences except for when it happens. even now, it is rarely distributed even to survivors. About the m249 troll, Yes i think that SHOULD happen. Group-plays should have both advantages and disadvantages. M249 would prove that group plays isn't always safe and it would also prevent everyone trying for group spawn. There's always a freedom of choice for players and their group. I'm thinking about 20% of the playerbase uising the group spawn. This wouldn't make solos so unfair. Besides, lonewolves are much more stealthier for loot runs and has several advantages on it's own

    Could you please tell me how this could be exploited? i am interested in that. I would like to know how spawning with friends like L4D would make this game any worse. You're right that it's one of the main feature of L4D, but we can't say it's a bad one. I think Lots can be learned from other games.

  23. I don't think these guns fit with the mood of this mod. Also, these guns doesn't really have the purpose for killing or scouting zombies. It's MAINLY PvP weapon. I'm not saying PvP is bad, but these guns really breaks the balance because they can shoot so far away without aggroing a single zombie.
