  2. Yeah, i think u meant the bandit skins, and you are right about that. The bandit skin didn't work well, so rocket is making a new system so killing other people would bring consequences.

    1)if u have an entrenching tool, a 'remove bag fence' will appear and it wouldn't be hard like the wires :) Can't think of other way of removing it unless u have a pipe bomb. i once tried smashing it with a car 110km/h and my car flew away with bag fence intact XD 2)if u already have an entrenching tool, u just need a sandbag now. get a sandbag, go to inven and right click-press 'create bag fence'

  5. I don't know if this is possible in the current engine but i would like the map system be completely rehauled. The current map shows too much details and it shouldn't be so zoomable. There should be a paper map of the whole chernarus and maps showing smaller regions. of course all of them should be seperate loots which u should find. All smaller maps should be clickable in the big map so u don't have to search for a specific small region map in your inven.(I hope this makes sense) Oh, and maps that have markings from a person(not other players) would be cool. like marks for where the deer stands are.
  6. That dilutes the population. The "big cities" are supposed to be more important. They are supposed to attract more players and be the sight of more encounters and more action. This creates a balanced dynanic between low risk/low reward towns and high risk/high reward large cities. currently small towns inland are just acting as a supply to keep up to NW. Since the vehicles came in the small villages became a little more populated than before, but srsly do u really go exploring villages?

I think it would be better if places other than airfields, 3 cities are more worth exploring. Probably more varied spawn points and more players per server I understand that you want more cities or whatever. Do you understand the provenance of the mod? I don't think so. I'd like to be able to explore a whole continent with 10000 players on the same server, with full cities and fast food restaurants with working fryers.... But really, there's an engine, and a very small, volunteer dev/resources team. People are getting ahead of this mod and expecting way too much. I can't imagine being encouraged by all of the entitlement and 'suggestions' on these boards. The number of 'I'm leaving' threads (I did one myself!). As TKJ said, if you don't like it now, then go play or do something else and check in periodically. I agree that the game could be more difficult, and I'd like it to feel like a panic mode race to live even for a few minutes.... More threats and more dangers would be great. I elucidated such things in a previous post that was eaten in the board fiasco, and I don't really feel like throwing it all out there again.... In any case, yes, the environment should, in my estimation, be more challenging. Until then, I am having fun with it, and I don't play it like a typical FPS. There are ways not to. I didn't say i expect the dev to fix like that i just said that it would be BETTER.I know the limit of this engine and i don't want a new city called a chelektro to pop out. I'm just hoping for a new game mechanic to make small towns to be more crucial as the big cities.

  9. i actually avoid low pop servers since serv hoppers tend to go to those servers. I go to a spot like 500m away from the airfield and look for zombies first. If there are no zombies(zombies spawn when there are players) i step in like a badass, but i still get killed sometimes :D
  10. guys don't be so mean to him. Besides he is actually telling the truth. Maps are way too big to run for hours(Besides, it's unrealistic) and everybody is just shooting everything that moves without thinking. Still, those problems doesn't stop me from playing it for days.

  12. pressing W*2 should run much faster than normal running, but i can't really tell the difference. is it disabled in the DayZ mod?
  13. i just made a sandbag wall, but i can't find a save option except 'remove bag fence'. I remember seeing a save option for a wire fence so i guess that survive server restart, but does the sandbag survive server restart too?
  14. Yeah, i did saw the different animation, but the speed seems to be same as normal running. I tried doubletap by a fellow survivor but i wasn't any faster than him(he was normal running)

Most of the vehicles are already repaired by a certain group in each server. and they do this SUPER easy with the item duping bug. the vehicles should completely reset later when the fix for the item dupe bug comes out. This item dupe bug is really ruining with the ingame item supplies. i see gps and NVG in every bodies. i actually want a whole character+item reset in the future. so the amount of rare loot is kept to minimum.
  16. i'm sorry but i didn't understand what you were saying except i'm guessing you are saying it's just alpha. About that, it is more important that they fix the exploit first before adding a new feature. what's the point of experimenting if the players use exploits to work around from how they are supposed to play and give results?
  17. There would be lots of people who came after the 1.61patch who doesn't know about the humanity feature. Many would have lower their humanity to an unrecoverable level. Do u think rocket will reset everybody's humanity when he adds a related feature as he promised?? i am pretty sure people will be pissed, but as usual u guys are gonna call them crybabies :)

  19. sry if this is already suggested(i used the search function) i think the mili zeds should be tougher than civilian zeds since they got like protective vests and also they got much better loot. 2 shots with M1911 would be fine.

  21. I noticed that humanity doesn't show in the debug monitor anymore. Does this mean, humanity is completely gone for now? or is it still calculating in the background? And yes, i do know that bandit skin aren't removed yet
