I asked the same question a few days ago. The trick is to open your backpack and pull out the cz, it will automatically swap ammos too. Only take OUT the weapon, don't put it in -
Okay, not 100% sure if there was a thread similar to this, the search function showed not.. So, if you would look at the yellow circle in the pic... http://i.imgur.com/hOkiN.jpg ... does anyone else feel that there is a lot of unused space. Like, there is a place that holds your map, compass, watch, hatchet, matches, knife and... what else? That's 6 out of 12 empty places. Does something go in there or? If not, wouldn't it be better for primary weapon ammo to go somewhere in between the secondary ammo? Dont know if you get me, so i will put it this way, i think it would be better that primary and secondary ammo go in the yellow circle, and bandages with painkillers, food and stuff in the red circle. Just a suggestion, it would provide a lot of extra space. Having ammo and bandages take up the same spaces does not make any sense.

Oh, i haven't played arma before this mod so i don't know that. I am aware of that, but bandages and secondary ammo? That doesn't make sense xD And neither does primary ammo treated as food

I had a similar encounter but waaaay funnyer. Me and my friend were in the woods by the road, just before the entrance to electro as we saw three guys on the road. When he fired his enfield to take the middle one out, the turned around and started shooting at the last guy and killed him. Apparently they thought that he shot at them xD -

I think that rocket is right. This IS supposed to be realistic zombie apocalipse (erm... simulator? xD). Do you think that you wouldnt get a bullet in the head in real life scenario if someone saw you had tons of food or a powerfull weapon or such? Find friends offline and cooperate. Works for me :) -
Do bandits exist anymore? Will i lose humanity if i defend myself no matter what?

They are not THAT rare. I found a camo skin in some random house on the beach, and my friend found one an hour later in electro -
I personally liked the bandit/survivor skins more, but that's just me. Met like 10 people today, they all ended up shooting at me. There is no real way to tell if someone is a good guy or a bad guy. Yeah, realism and all that, i get it, but seriously.. The only good thing about this is that when you kill someone in self defense you don't get the bandit skin. I am really curious though what will happen now that everyone is a potential threat to you. Me and my friend ended up shooting everyone on sight. Not because of the loot, but because you just never know...

So, lets say i have an ak 47 in my hand and cz 550 in my backpack. Is there any way i can quickly change between those two without my ak rounds being dropped on the floor (and sometimes vanishing (bug?) ) How do you people do it?

No' date=' thats the slow way to do it and you risk losing gear. Just take the gun out of your backpack, it automatically puts the current equipped one in the backpack and swaps ammo too. Okay, first i would like to say hi to everyone, been reading posts for a long while but just registered. Second, i dont't quite get the instalation. I read both the forum and dayz wiki posts and the thing that botheres me is the install tool (http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=2001) So, i have Arma 2: Free and a legit copy of Arma 2: OA on steam. How exactly do i install the mod? Do i just run the install tool and that's it, or do i follow the steps like download the files, make @Dayz, Addons folders, -mod=@dayz -nosplash etc... Jut a quick response would be appreciated :)
