Dayz doesnt Launch, i go into steam under library right click OA and select combined operations like ive always done, however this time it runs the actual game not the mod. Ive been playing for about 2 months, its always fine up until now. im lost on what to do.This started last night, i couldnt figure it out so i shut down my comp and gave up. I tried again this morning and the same thing happend. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Something very similar happened to me last night. I bandaged, still didnt stop, after about 5 minuts of trying to figure it out i realized that the hunger and thirst indicators werent working at all, so i drank from my canteen and stopped bleeding. Im not sure if you updated to 1.7.2.6, but i did, im thinking that may have screwed it up.

Only leave it in, if you intend on making it block zombies. As of right now its useless.

This has happend to me several times its very irritating, espesially spawning in with absolutly nothing.

I understand that.I died last night so i lost most of my stuff but i have on me 2 m203 (1HE, 1white flare) 1 100 Rnd m240 mag 1 200 Rnd m249 belt 3 smoke grenades (2 green) 1 m9sd mag would you be interested in any of that?

I have some assorted ammo i'd like to trade, as well as a lee (yes its an extremely common weapon, but whats the harm in offering it? just makes you read a little more lol) I'd like to get a cz550 with a few mags if possible.

This is for those three guys on us 1913 whom clearly had no idea what happend. I had found a satchel charge in the the barracks at NW airfield, so i decided to put it to good use by placing it inside the super market in cherno. After i had it placed i left and waited in the field just infront of it for someone to come along. luckily for me you three showed up just minuts after. i waited until all three of you were inside, then blew up the building. This was VERY amusing to me, mainly because one of you survived just long enough to be eaten by the horde of zombies who followed. :) I was going to answere you when you asked over direct chat "WTF just happend" but i thought it best to just let you wonder....Then you said it was a hacker and died, so i was unable to explain it. I want you to know that it was not a hacker, you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Also this is not an apology, it was my intent to kill you. No because even though the as50 is pretty common its still desired. The problem you have is that you have a fairly rare weapon that no one wants. especialy since the suppressed m4 is easier to find and overal more effective. The only good thing i can say about it is that it has a suppressor. I've only had the gun once before in dayz but i have used it in arma 2 as well. To be honast i doupt any one would trade you for it, it simply isnt a highly desired gun sorry.

I wasnt entirely sure where to put this so i decided to put it here. It was about an hour ago, when i decided to play dayz. i logged in to a server and it started me over, completely, i was on the beach with none of my equipment. Out of curiousity i ran a ways and picked up a heat pack. Then i logged off and back on a different server, to see if it would do it again but it didnt. So i kept playing and i noticed a body in the street, then i noticed another guy in the bushed watching him. i snuck over and took the hatchet off the guy standing. i hit him around ten time with it and nothing happend. he didnt even move so i figured he was afk, and proceeded to take all of his stuff he had. a coyote back pack NVG's tons of medical stuff and highend weapons. but ammo for none. after i took all his stuff i noticed an as50 tws. My question is should i get rid of it or just use it? I ask because to my knowledge this is a hacked weapon. I dont want to be considered a hacker and possibly banned for using a looted gun.

To my knowledge this is usualy caused by high internet traffic, low internet speed, or just a bad connection to either the server or your router. As to how you can fix it. id suggest closing the game, reopening it and trying a different server. hope it helps. I know this is also the problem in alot of cases if not most

I believe the point he is trying to make is that it is in fact a game and despite how "realistic" it may be, it should still be treated as such and not taken so seriously.

Currently dayz is a mod for arma 2 AO. Dayz standalone will be a game all by itself, once it is released. So it wont require arma 2 AO to operate.
