It seems everything else is operational, besides the infamous crash on launch. I have tried the conventional fixes and they are absolutely useless. However it helps when I restart my computer. Sometimes it is enough if i restart it once... sometimes 5 restarts are not enough.

Where does one find the elusive "ARMA2 Launcher" ?

Update: I tried that, uninstalled/deleted everything(Sixlauncher, DayzCommander, Arma 2 and oa) redownloaded, reinstalled and when i updated/downloaded everything with DayzCommander, the game didnt even start. The versions page still showed, that I was running revision 95248. I have now deleted absolutely everything even remotely related to arma2/dayz and downloaded the Arma 2 and OA again. I would now like to recieve some actual support, before I fk everything up again with random guides from random folk.

Backuping it now and then reinstalling from it wont help, i assume?

So I am having trouble updateing Arma II. I have tried installing beta patches for about a week... about 30 times. I have tried different patches, SIXupdater, DayZ Commander. Dayz Commander even says "Update successful" or sth, but still shows that I am running revision 95248. All advice is welcome, especially good advice.
