we checked a military base for loot near the nw airfield and heard an enemy shooting outside. found some awesome m4 addons :D

Everything is getting bored if you do it every day without any changes. Everyday life ain't good, whether it's social life, gaming or something else. At the moment I have holidays but usually I don't have time in the week to play video games. After a hard-working week it's nice to go out at the weekend or just sit at home and play video games with your friends if you don't have to study or work. So don't play something to often, because it will be boring after an amount of time. Back to dayz: What it makes so special for me and worth playing it? This large post-apocalyptic zombie open world with it's group fights. I love the tactical PVP group fights which I could find also in arma 2 vanilla but there you don't get this zombie horror atmosphere what I really like. You're travelling around, collecting items to getting stronger for the next fight and expand, build up an camp, basement or something like that. also the communication in this game makes fun because you can fool around and do silly things ^^ generally I would say casual gamers have more fun in a long term and it depends on your teammates you play with and by what you're basically doing. for me the PVP group fights holds up my motivation for this game for a long time.

generally dayz is a little boring if you play it on your own but in a team you'll have a lot of fun! My team and I played the standalone for about 15 hours and we haven't noticed any annoying bugs just some little ones but they aren't really worth to mention. the only point to critize are the fps drops (20 - 30) in bigger towns like cherno, elektro or stary sobor but in landscapes you won't have any problems. furthermore there are not many zombies but there are a lot of players, the loot seems quite good (lots of new items, military stuff, functions and so on), some new places to discover and the graphics looks better. all in all it seems playable for an alpha and we had a lot of fun in the last hours of playing. so... I don't regret buying it. //edit: the only big point where you can be pissed off is if you buyed arrowhead (and arma 2) especially for the dayz mod and now you had to pay 20 euros again for the dayz standalone. but for me it doesn't really matters now because dayz is such a nice game and I see the money as a supporting donation. the dayz dev can make it good by bringing out an absolute smooth dayz! ;)

dayz namalsk is just amazing! love this map! it's perfect for an zombie apocalypse.

sounds great! also random zombies hordes, big mutants (like the left 4 dead tank) and stuff like that would be great! and what about infected animals (birds, horses, cows, pigs)? and if you eat them, you'll get infected too.

dayz namalsk is awesome - especially the background sound! very scary...

You should have a good PC, because the requirements here aren't similiar to today games e.g. cod or bf. It's an big open world with moving things, like trees and grass in the wind, animals, clouds and other stuff, which your PC needs to calculate.

Hi everybody, I played with an friend and we found an Military Jeep but got killed by another player. My humanity was about 5000 and I had a lots of good stuff.
