Yesterday I was all geared up. We had our first tent set up and decided we needed some medical supplies to store in our tent. Our server was very low populated, 3 players playing. My friend, my self and another player. I walked into a barn, up the stairs and scared the shit out of myself, there was a guy laying on the floor in ghillie suit with an axe in his hands. I panic sprayed him with 3 makarov bullets and then had to reload. He hit me one time with his axe and knocked me out, killed me, looted me and quickly logged out before my friend came rushing in... 3 players in a server and I stumble over him in a shady barn.. What the fuck!

Teach me master. _o_

I had my bones broken after I opened a door that was opening inside. I was laying there on the floor while opening it and all of a sudden I was laying there unconscious with broken bones. Luckily my friend had a morphine injector with him to save me.. It was still a waste of morphine and we died later on when a zombie pushed me of a guard tower and I broke my legs again.

Haha yeah I had that problem in one of the first days of playing this game. I spawned near 2 dead body's and a fully loaded car, never seen a rifle or a car before so I was pretty happy. Got the car running and ran into some guy who was being chased by +-15 zeds. Let him hop in the car and started talking, next thing I know is me laying on the floor and him saying ''thanks for the car'' on the chat. Never made the mistake to trust someone again...

I am pretty new to this and I cant wield an axe to kill zombies with it? How can I do that?

I think what Holy means is that it's to risky for him to help you out, the bandit is not the problem but it might be that you are currently trying to lure him and take his gear.

I started 2 days ago and died 4 times. After I while I learned how to play and I am currently heading north with a full backpack with food, ammo and medical supplies. I also got myself a scoped hunting rifle and a silenced secondary weapon. I had no problem finding these. So IMO, YES it is hard to start without it but once you try it a couple of times you learn how to play the game and it isn't that hard anymore.
