Don't use a track pad for gaming. Anyways; I have a late 2011 MacBook pro with AMD 6770 with 1 gb, 16 gb ram and 1440 by 900 resolution and 2.4 ghz i7 quad core It runs fine on max graphics and highest visibility so you have nothing to worry about. I also bootcamped windows 7 32 bit ( I don't want 64 bit since I only use it for arma2!!!!)
Please post all the specs, 2010 15" models and up can play the game with little lag. 2011 MacBook 13" can play the games on low and low visibility with minor lag. The late 2011 will run perfectly on the 15 without any problems whatsoever Same thing with the 15" 2012. And 13" 2012.
You will get about 40Fps max and about an average of 35 fps... You should download the demo and try to play it on there and test it out.... Who knows? Maybe it will be playable. If you do decide to then have low visibility and low graphics on.
It's not up to dayz but it's up to arma 2 .. Isn't dayz going to make their own games?!!! I so then maybe it will support macs since a chunk of dayz users boot camp windows from macs... I don't know why you guys are posting these ignorant comments... I have a MacBook pro boot camping and I get 200-300 fps on high settings. I have AMD 6770 with 1 gb and 2.4 ghz i7 quad core
I don't know why you guys are posting these ignorant comments... Macs run perfect on it. Anyways I don't know what the highest resolution is for the Dayz but I have a mid 2011 MacBook pro and the specs are AMD 6770 with 1gb 1440x900 16 gb ram I7 2.4 ghz quad core ____ It gets 300fps on high and sometimes 250 depending where you are. And on the highest visibility. I don't know about retina but the nvidia 650 should be pretty powerful and don't put the resolution all the way up...
