its the current version of dayz, its a bit broken, tents wont save there contents and vehicles wont save there position/condition.

I think the servers a little bugged atm, me and tyr have been running around different areas going to known locations of tents/vehicles and there not there, so either weve been very unlucky or they havnt spawned in after last reset.

did you have any luck in the end? im curious as to how many hackers were about, it seemed a bit manic at one point.

hacker teleported everyone at 9:20pm GMT today, just so you know. prior to that i had an odd thing happen at about 8:40pm he woulda been teleporting himself if it was a hacker. cant be sure though. Edit: and another mass teleport at 9:35... thats enough dayz for me tonight.

We shall see :) I wonder if thats the tractor we found a few nights back and decided to give you guys the bus we had, I just parked it up next to the tractor and saved it, that was the bus we went through cherno in.

oh im not saying dont get them, im saying once you have them make use of them cause stashing them wont work. but your right it did sound a little negative, i guess it should have said "Yeah, as has been said already hiding vehicles dosnt seem worth the effort to hide them most of the time" We started out today with a motorbike, but by the end of the night we had found 2 ATVs, 2 Busses, a white car and a tractor... not that we used them all mind you. Did anyone happen to catch our Coach tour of the seafront? going through Cherno was interesting... we took a lot of fire. We ran into a red car with 3 people in it near berizino i think it was, one of them thought it was a fun idea to get out when theres a bus traveling at 70 odd KPH right at him... so that was another road kill, its a shame they dont count as actual kills :P

Yeah, as has been said already hiding vehicles dosnt seem worth the effort most of the time, cause they always get found, best you can do is hold onto one for a few days and have a bit of fun, but the map dosnt seem big enough to hide them for any length of time, if there are enough people determined to find a ride, then your probably gonna loose it.

To me that video looks like lag... but who knows for sure, only Mr What can tell you, but ive been following smashy and tyr all night and the server has been a bit iffy on the lag front, if you see someone running in a given direction the server will just display them as heading that way until told otherwise.

So i decided i should finally sign up to the forums... Last night was fun, it started by me logging in walking two steps and seeing havok standing in front of me next to a nice shiney pickup truck... cant get off to a much better start than that really! So thats where the truck came from, after that there was a whole lot of driving around, picking people up and collecting/finding vehicles, while i was driving down the coast road to pick up Tyrgrim, i ran over some poor chap who thought it was a good idea to run right down the middle of the road... i was going about 100kph at the time, his corpse flew through the air for miles... and then later What21 banned him for altf4 abuse, so i guess it wasnt his night. But when we got to that town, there were so many players about it was crazy. we saw zombies around as we were driving up, i guess that was down to jewdy being in the town, Tyr spotted a couple of guys on the hill the other side of town, a long way off, he killed them, then i spotted a couple in the tree line eastish of town, and then there was you 3 who i dont think we saw at all going from your descriptions. So it seems like there were either 3 or 4 groups of players in the same town that night. Was good fun. :)
