I have a tent and a lot of Pepsi's I'd be willing to trade for this weapon. Not sure if You still have it though... I'm kinda bored in game and already have an M4CCO-SD. If you're just trolling me and want to set me up, then so be it. If not I helped you onto the white list and I'm a bit more set for pvp in Electro :D

It is not supposed to be that way. It is likely 1 of 2 things. 1 - The game is in Beta and as such is glitchy, sometimes swapping servers from the one you were logged on last will lose your gear - sucks but that is the way it goes. Hard to prevent honestly. 2 - Your game is not fully updated. Try using Dayz Commander (http://www.dayzcommander.com/) to run your game from. It will help you update easily with the "Versions ^" button. Then only play on the most up to date versions by filtering for "Hide Wrong Arma 2 Version" and "Hide Wrong Dayz Version". Even that is not completely safe and tents are not saving properly right now, it should preserve the gear on your character though. Best of luck, and if I kill you for your beans, don't be angry :D

Also there are several "hacktivists" (I'm not one, not in highschool/college and no time to play with that stuff) who COULD illegally teleport you out. Search around on the troubleshooting page, you'll find someone called "friendlyscripter". He and several guys might be able to help you. But the version swap should help. If it doesn't as he advised me last night, use dayz commander to downgrade your dayz version and your arma 2 version, then log in, should spawn you on the coast, then you can upgrade back and you'll be at the same spot - no gear that you lost, but you won't be in the ocean. The few nice hackers/scripters are quite knowledgeable and helpful in the game and know how the mechanics of versions work - IMO they should be hired by DayZ to help with development or at least serve as a support team to fix the many bugs that exist. Best advice I got, but good luck! It's all trial and error to an extent, similar to how clicking "search" on google sometimes does nothing and you have to click a second time...

So if I use them every 24 hours they stay there, or they move/respawn regardless of usage every 24 hours?

Stuck on "Setup Completed"? Want to Keep Gear? [SOLUTION]

I got helped in this manner, totally legit. Gave me back the gear I originally had and saved me from being stuck inside a building in Novy Sobor. Can we hire guys like this to work as Devs and fix people's problems? They already kinda know how, and some of the "scripters" are actually really nice helpful people who just do their best to prevent the bugs in the game from ruining your experience. When I go the debug zone / respawn glitch last night I lost legitimately earned: NVG, Ghillie, M9SD, SVD Camo, GPS, and a Coyote + all the requisite stuff you'd find easier than that. And I was genuinely about to call it a month and download Counter Strike out of frustration with dying to a bug, not a person, and being stuck underneath a building with no way out other than to stay logged in until I bled to death. Then this saved me. Now I'm back having fun with my buddies... anyways, a big thank you to the nice scripters. -

He's the debug version of a medic who helps when you're bleeding out!
