    a user on Reddit just pointed out that this might occur when you spawn too close to a tree. would make sense in my case, my body was directly next to a tree because that's where i usually log out. posting that in the other threads too. so people stay away from trees or don't hug the trunks when logging out :)

    why isn't there a response yet? :( my friends and i stopped playing for a week already because of this. this i way worse than the usual bug because it makes it essentially nonsensical to run around and look for gear because you will lose it the next time you login anyway. and there is no way around it.

    happened to me too. my body was still there and my friends could recover my gear. but then it happened to a friend too. and we couldn't see his body. previously when it happened to me one guy couldn't see my body either. Current installed version: Dayz: 1.7.2.5 Arma 2 : 95883
