First install ArmA 2, then install ArmA 2 OA in the same folder, and you'll have a kind of CO version. I did the same and it works.

It's actually a medium-sized and a PvP map (in most of cases) and I think it's better to play alone. :)

Any private hive server with whitelisting? And could someone help me launch the mod with the beta patch? (I can't see the "beta" mod in game, when adjusting the launched mods)

It's actually hard to survive this way, but this is not my problem, as I'm going solo through the world and not trusting absolutely anyone ;)

It should run but only on lowest settings. I'm running DayZ mod on AMD Radeon HD 6370M on the lowest-medium settings, and I get no more than 30 FPS (when holding the view straight obviously).

Really? Strange, because the ArmA 2 trailer says something else (the map shows something near the Caspic Sea).

Get a gaming PC? I'm running ArmA 2 on my laptop with an AMD Radeon HD 6370m, and it works, but the FPS goes down to 15-20 in Cherno, for example.

Because I have no game partner, no in-game friends. I don't trust anyone. Just wait till they check some loot or something and spray the shit out of them with an AKM.
