I don't know what servers you've been playing on, but if you've seen more AS50s equipped in game than any other weapon, perhaps consider the fact they were scripted in.

If rifles are getting nerfed and/ or removed, let's consider removing Satchel charges, M240 LMGs from the Huey, Night vision goggles, MK mod, M249, GPS, and Rangefinders. Since we're shooting for the element of realism and to keep gameplay from turning into too much of a yawnfest, might I suggest adding Teddy Bears, slingshots (you must find tennis balls as ammo and adding toilet paper to your balls increases damage), rubber bullet launcher, and chocolate hearts (giving away chocolate hearts to other survivors that suffer from depression increases your humanity).

M107 and AS50 gone? I'm all for crafting weapons or whatever, but totally removing prized possessions is a bit ridiculous. Much of the game is about finding rare items or weapons, not dumbing down the playing experience to appease those who don't invest the time. Sorry, finding a spiked bat or shovel is about as exciting as stumbling upon toilet paper and razors.

I really don't think you're in any position to generalize the issues people have had with SS without verifying the facts. Very irresponsible since many have not been able to get their money back after dealing with this clown of a provider. -

Same here loses connection and keepes retrying. Seems a computer restart solves the issue for a short period of time -

It's hard to make a decision based on the logs alone as you don't have the full story. I only take action if I get multiple complaints about the same player. -

There was an issue before, but now have 4,918 bans with no problems.

There's alot of bias and really one of the reasons I don't really bother posting anywhere else except in server general. From Mods pulling plugs for their very own Balota Buddies or simply locking posts because it's felt the content has zero value isn't something favorable to a public forum. Resurrecting a thread that might have some relevant information should not constitute a lock because a mod feels it's too old. Perhaps content should be more important than raising post counts for the sake of typing towards a status symbol nobody really cares about. Of course, you then have the bandwagon users who'll give beans to a mods post no matter if it clearly contains biased opinions.

I have to agree. "Admin Base" is a bunch of garbage. If I joined a server with those rules, I would beeline it directly to the admins base. -
Well, I removed all of the lines containing 1 in both of the largest logging files and still getting complaints of upsidedown choppers and players appearing and reappearing. I would have figured it would have reduced the desync at some level since the logs for scripts and setvariable no longer produce a log.

So is there any news on the lag and desync issues? Rubber banding, red and yellow chains, ability to drive through wrecks and buildings, firefights in which blasted player dies two minutes after it's over, players unable to access gear or vehicle menus, disconnection to the DB and control panel for minutes at a time. I understand the filters might have something to do with the load, but not running them is an invitation to a scripfest. Have any suggestions on optimizing the filters without compromising security? Any other ideas at what might be causing the desync and lag spikes?

The admin might be a complete gobbler, but do you really need four Urals? I personally don't care what players do, but have seen camps with 6 or more vehicles raided and destroyed along with an enourmous amount of gear. The player that made the camp usually comes back in a fit of rage.
