Considering how private hives dominate the Dayz experience, could it be possible, perhaps, to unban some weapons? Also, vehicles like the MTVR and the Golf and add the ability back to spawn ammo crates? If not, how about adding more variety in vehicles and some different airplanes? Too many changes and the banning of things that added to the fun factor is bit of a downer.

BattlEye Server Filters for DayZ Mod 1.8.4

I restarted the server numerous times and players keep getting randomly kicked for #205. Perhaps most of them are hacking :) ? NM, figured it out. -

Tools to deal with Bandits? I guess removing the AS50 and M107 wasn't enough to stem the plethora of whining.

Dupefest 2000. Simply logging off and back in dupes your character and gear.

Server Owners: Are you experiencing this problem? (1.7.7)

Same thing here as well. -
What issues are server owners having with 1.7.7?

Players spawning in debug. -
Remove attack helis entirely, or put AMRs back in the game.

Players fire at them because they can. Why are people idiots for playing a game the way they wish? -
BattlEye Server Filters for DayZ Mod 1.8.4

Yes, that is the line but couldn't find it when I copied it over to Notepad++. Copied again, and there it was. -
The game was great the first couple of weeks and then the onset of boredom slowly crept in. The environment is too static to keep it refreshing and exciting knowing what loot spawns where coupled with the fact it's the same old items. I believe this is the main reason most players that started out being Mr. Friendly have now become the "bad" guy. The AS50 and M107 were removed, but I still see complaints in this thread about being killed by other weapons when spawning at the coast. When does it end? Also, now that items like the SUV, MTVR, crates that many private server admins used as care packagaes, different weapons, and other little things that are now banned, the snooze factor just increased. Face the facts. Pvp is good and it's what has kept this mod from getting kicked into the abyss.

Same here. Which line do I need to edit? -
How about a Flamethrower or some fiery cockntailz? Everyone knows zombies are afraid of fire.

Please don't dumb the patch down due to players crying about zombie difficulty. Myself and others have been rubbed the wrong way already by the removal of certain weapons, which I respect, but feel it's time for these players to step up to the plate and deal with the situation rather than create 100 threads on how life in Cherno is too difficult.

PvP Will always be in this game. Deal with it.

Agreed, but when certain aspects of the game are removed to cater to those individuals that are up in arms over dying, it ruins the game for everyone. -

Does anyone have confirmation on this? If so, it would be an enourmous letdown. -
Forgot how to remove logging some items like toilet paper, razors, etc. in the addmagazinecargo file. Quick rundown?

Darn, I would come and play if you had 1000 vehicles :( -
I've had hackers come into the server and use a crossbow that fired bolts like an automatic weapon. Banning weapons simply because scripters favor them is a poor argument.

I've been with ST for about 6-7 months now and my main gripe is the extreme lag at times. Filters or no filters, 100 vehicles or 500 vehicles, the lag makes it impossible to even walk at times. Other than the occasional DDos and sarcasm in the IRC channel, it's been pretty decent.

Let's look at the issue of .50 cal rifles and other "overpowered" weapons from a financial standpoint. Perhaps a select core group will be happy with Baseball bats and attaching glass bottles to an already established assault rifle, but alot of players will be turned off at the fact the best weapon in the game will probably be a DMR or poison tipped blowdarts. Survival is an element to the game, but to not consider players that do enjoy the pvp aspect and lethal weaponry would be closing the door on a rather large playerbase. Having a hatchet battle the first four times was fun, but like everything, it becomes a yawnfest rather quickly. To say the standalone isn't for everyone or it's the anti-game is nonsense as BI having a return on investment is THE most important motive of all.

Translation: I want to log in and play without searching for items that require too much time and effort. I'll justify my beliefs and tell other players to "get some strategy" on the basis that I dislike using strategy myself and as a result, die way too often. Since I've never had the opportunity to use weapons such the the M107 or AS50, I'll just go ahead and jump to conclusions and assume using it is equates to shooting fish in a barrel. Man, my crew and I just spent 6 hours fixing this fancy UH1H. Since we spent all of this time on repairs, it's our right to fly around, enter hoverhold over major cities, and open fire on other players without fear of being shot down ourselves. I'm glad they're being removed and if I die to often by an M14 or DMR, I'll start an online poll voicing my displeasure how these weapons are overpowered.

I thought the map was pretty much complete except for some changes? -
I believe this is one of the best aspects of the game. The fear you might be shot at any moment or the feeling your being watched adds to the tension. Knowing it isn't a big deal to simply wander the streets and the fact that your chance of survival is increased after being plugged with multiple rounds detracts from the overall experience.

Agreed, military loot should be rare, not removed. I have to admit, since the last patch, we've encountered absolutely ZERO AS50s at crash sites. It's so rare that I'm often asked if they've been completely removed. I personally find sitting on a hill sniping other players to be absolutely boring, but it shouldn't mean items in the game should be banned simply because I'm always sitting on the recieving end of an M107. The game offers many different aspects of gameplay and whether you enjoy murdering players, building a camp, hoarding vehicles, or collecting loot none should be removed or frowned upon. I'm not blind to the vision the developers want, but if spending your time walking around for hours or days yields nothing more than tin cans and a Winchester, it's probably going to get dull rather quickly.
