Anyone have any experiences with Survivalservers.com?

I don't want to be a Debbie Downer, but my exepriences with SS was nothing short of a nightmare. You can read the last 10 or so pages of their thread for similar customer service issues. Whether their promises to improve or not remain to be seen, you'll have to make that judgement for yourself. TCadmin isn't very difficult, but it might seem overwhelming for a first time admin. You can search for specific questions or post the ones you're not sure about. It's easy to screw something up if you're not careful so take the time to research. -
Let's have less hi-tech guns available

How about just leaving the game alone, stop trying to change everything, and play as was intended? I can almost guarantee if the AS-50 and M107 were removed, there would be another weapon that's too "overpowered" and the nerf train starts rolling once again. Take this a step further, and we should just use spears, rocks, and bows. Sorry, I would hate to see a great game start to get picked apart simply because someones evasive skills are poor or are too lazy to flank a position. -
Go to Gametracker, find your server, and look for the link that says "Banner". Choose the one you like and insert it into your signature.

Oh, I agree. It is a big issue in this forest life. -

From all the beans I've eaten, I'm not too far from burning a hole in my pants. -
Can't be as bad as walking from the shore to the NWAF! Haha. Agreed, the map is huge. So I'm reading the EU version is getting dumped in favor of the 1.7.4.4 version. Anyone know the primary differences?

On the EU version, I was able to add vehicles and fit them with custom loadouts. The different skins did not work and was stuck with the infamous Russian punk rocker getup. Also, the GPS coordinates did not match the in game map coordinates. Some people that tried to join were hit with Battleye errors and others did not which was the main reason I pulled it. I'd rather have Bliss behind it and an active dev team supporting and working out the issues.

What about setting up a tent inside a tent which you can then set up inside the Barracks?

Now that's gaming realism right there.

How BUNKERS should look and how to impliment SLAVES

There is too much food on the map. I always felt cannibalism should be an option. I want my eyeballs a lil crispy please! -
If people think VAC is the second coming to combat cheating and have nothing to worry about, think again. Counter Strike, using VAC, is plauged with cheating and the game is over 8 years old! I think many of us have been victims of scripting at one point or another, but I sincerely hope the game will implement something to run in conjunction with VAC or at least allow a effective means to deal with it. So far, the only real way of doing anything is to wade through pages of log files or get lucky enough to catch them red handed. Punkbuster isn't foolproof either, but with a means to investigate a players ID history against a database is such a invaluable tool to see if prior global bans exist on other accounts held by the same player. Also, the real time streaming admin constantly monitors the server for players who have global bans and effectively shuts the door before they can even join. As of right now, whitelisting a player is just a leap of faith with no way to truly background check anyone. Perhaps a collaboration with Pbbans? Just sayin'
