Played this game for a while now, used to be a bandit (not the camp on sniper hill bandit, the hold you up and steal your stuff, you move and you die bandit). Well a month or two ago I wanted a bit of a challenge and started working to the hero skin, started off at -175k humanity (I rarely had to kill my prey, just knock em out with a dmr). Well I took some time and worked as just the medic for my buddies who played and last week I finally reached the famed hero skin. I started out just running around helping players out, rarely holding anything better than a M16 if the need arises, giving players my food, transfusing them, mending bones. The basics of being a hero, well a couple hours ago I came across a bandit and I was stumped on what to do. Let him go or unload into him? Well I guess I should explain how it all went down I was running through cherno, I had a AKM and a makirov, alice pack, almost full toolbelt (WHY DO YOU ELUDE ME GPS!!!) lots of food/drink/medical. I was checking out the hospital (I was down to 2 bloodbags). And I heard a player coughing, and I called out to the player In direct. We talked for a few minutes, I guess he had got the drop on me when I was running through the school house....damn been a while since someone got the better of me. I offered to give him some antibiotics and he accepted quickly, I also gave him some blood food and drink and the makirov and sent him on his way. He said thank you and ran off to the woods. His name was rainbowunicornmagiccandyfarts (Really dude?) Well I made my way to the church and was lucky and found a revolver inside. Right as I was about to step out the door I hear the terrifying crack of a M107....shit.... Rainbowunicornmagiccandyfarts was killed ...ugh....really I take a look around and spot a camo guy climbing down the huge building in the center of town, with the binoculars I can see he has a very large barreled rifle slung over his shoulder (Coyote pack to....bastard) I start making my way closer to investigate. I caught sight of a player running ahead of me running to the same building and I tail him. A couple times a swear he spots me but from what I can tell he either didnt notice me or didnt care. As we got close to the tower I slow down and let him run ahead. He stops and some garbage in the middle of the road and aims at the tower....and crouches...looking at the tower....with a crossbow. I cant help but chuckle. Except for the fact that I catch sight of movement on the right side of my screen and I turn and look and its the camo guy. Close enough to see that indeed he had a m107, Not jumping to conclusions I sit and watch. He manages to creep up behind the player (using the shuffle trick to avoid making noise) and puts a bear trap behind the player and backs off. Once again a Laugh, we sit there for a few minutes and the bambi crossbow back right onto the trap Crunch Direct chat: Oh shit please dont shoot! Hehe first time meeting the bear trap huh? Well the camo'd player walks up to the bambi and starts to heal him so I begin to think all is ok and get ready to leave. The camo guy says that the player had to drop all is stuff on the ground or he would get no morphine and he will leave him there to die. Guess I better hang around, the bandit (camo) switches his m107 out for a m249 out and aims it at the player. Guess its time to step in I aim the akm pull the trigger direct chat (bambi) HOLY SHIT!! I run up and tell the bambi I am friendly and I was just stopping the other guy from killing him. I gave him morphine, I told the player I was taking the coyote pack of the guy and He could have everything else, He said great thanks! I take It and begin to walk away and say goodbye, Direct chat (Bambi voice): Wait one more thing 40 m249 shots atleast Scopeshot was killed damn.... Well that was my lovely Dayz experince, The hero game is fun, challenging, and cruel. Hope you all enjoyed my story. Time to go give some more beans to some fresh spawn. The one nice thing about being a hero.....Killing bandits :P You get to kill players without people raging :D

Thanks, yeah I've really enjoyed they hero aspect. I've played both hero and bandit, and I honestly think both can be really hard sometimes. But hero can be the most anoying hehe.....fuckin bambi back stabbers lol

There are two things that can cause this (Watching "naught areas to spy on da enemy) 1. Server hack - An admin has uploaded, and modified his server with a server hack that gives players a range of abilities all whilst hiding their GUID's from battleye basically A server wide battleye bypass with scripts injected into every player who enters the server 2. A hacker Injected a lesser grade version into the server, one of those richer douche bags who spend the $50+ on the secret little things. This is a weaker version of the original. The hacker almost gains full administrative rights over the server equal to a rcon tool

Actually your wrong here mate, There is a way to remove your hud, Its been a while give me some time to look it up again, You have to edit part of your game files but neither battleye or the server kicks you for it

Aye the server I admin we cranked the damage on zombies up so that 2-3 hits will kill you, We like it difficult, people are scared of zombies on our server. standard vehicle spawns and starter gear tho, that extra shit is stupid that people put in thier servers

So for the first time I felt bad about killing someone. Last night I was crawling around electro....yes i know....stupid :P WELL IT WAS NIGHT TIME OK!!!! I was enjoying the lovely sounds of as50 fire floating on the breeze and the lovely smell of gunpowder. I Just died so I needed supplies so I began to crawl to the super market. I get inside after having a sniper trying to give me a haircut. Find a czech pack and a remington with 2 mags of 8 round pellets. Get some food, a compass, and a map, and hunting knife....lucky me, all I need to survive packed in one building. Well I start to get ready to move out and check out the windows and the back doors to see if its all clear. Well as many of you know in electro what MAY look clear can be many many many things but clear. Take one step out the wrong door and you are facepalming yourself. Well as I am peaking out the backdoor. The sniper gets greedy and takes a crap shot at me and hits like 4-5 feet away from me and I duck back into the main room. Just as I am about to bolt out the front door I hear.... ."Freindly? Freindly in the store?" I ask "You mean the super market right?" " "Yes the store" uhhh shit.... "Yeah Freindly" "Can i come in please? Dont shoot!!!" "Sure you can come in." As he comes in i begin to drool. My favorite weapon in the game is in HIS hands (MK 48 mod 0 (I have a small man complex OK!!)). I calm myself and he begins searching the store for food and stuff. always keeping me in his sights. As i tell him I am about to leave he pulls out what forces me to have to choose loot over honor. A L85 AWS, I know now the mk 48 was no fluke, he was geared. I waited for him to turn his back on me and I put 2 12gauge pellets into his dome, He drops....and rage quits. He has always played on my server. Now he dosnt :( i feel really bad....but now Im standing here with MK 48 mod 0, L85 AWS, Ghillie suit, rangefinder, NVG, GPS, M9 Sd, Coyotte pack, 2 mags for the mk and 3 for the L85. All the toolbelt items....and a bear trap :P Well thats my story :D Hope you enjoyed. IN the end i ended up contacting him through steam and gave him his items back. Felt like a dick :/

Dang this was a long time ago. I have not used this trick anymore, I have moved onto the taviana servers, and been having a blast. Tho I have played the bandit role for SO long I switched to playing as a hero. I have nothing agaisnt bandits OR hero's both sides are a blast to play. Except as a hero I kill bandits and get praised for it :P

problem was solved, logs were sent, so on and so forth, we caught them before they could do too much damage :( but we lost a heli oh well

WELL just fucking took the ip down seeing as how 3-4 hackers decided to pop on and hit the whole server,

Funny thing is a hacker did that yesterday, We sucked it up and continued on, not to many hackers show up here but we get the ocastional

No its not we just made it our home base, tho the admin is thinking about making us admins, been playing here for a while

Good for you bro, Im running with a AMD phennom II X4 black box and dual Geforce GTX 480's (a $500) computer and i get 80 fps in city 90 in the woods, still think that 3k was really worth a apple pos? And also yes playing on ultra graphics
