I personaly think thats hopeful, but to be honest its less buggy than most MMO releases. As far as ass hats go... every think about joining a private hive with an active comunity forum?

it is free. better than six launcher, easier to change your game version, more options and filters when looking for games. I haven't had any issues with it. OH there is a friend's list too.

You have 2 post and one has been deleted? Have you been reading these forums? There are tons of complaints about how the game is unplayable now. Seriously, the Dayz Mod is a pet project they aren't getting paid for, and its not even in beta testing yet. In either case i'm sorry your post got deleted, do you have a copy of it?

My friend spawned on a beach 5 feet from a hacked weapons crate. you better belive we had some fun till the next server restart. :D

The g-17 can use M9 clips as well. And the high rate of fire makes up for the 500 less damage than the m1911. I like this guide and would have to say that the m203 is one of my favorite weapons. clear rooms, attack from distances. put people down. props you have my beans.

I've found several private hive servers that i'm pretty sure have alot of scripting going on. Are these exempt from the normal battle eye regs and bans? Or maybe i'm just mistaking it for the amount of power an admin has on a private hive.

actualy I have one more question, because spawning a freaking base sounds that awesome, do you have a link to or know what it takes to run a private hive server? I've been considering getting a pretty beefy computer lately.

ok, so the double helis, SUVs, 10 dudes unloading from a bus with AS50s, are legit, but sudenly my partner being hacked and having his inventory replaced with top teir items (not complaining too much) probalby wasn't. Neither was the instant 100 meter headshoting revolver. Are you guys also able to run some sort of locator? I seemed to be having issues with the same couple of players that can find w/e they want. From vehicals to tents to me running down the road after respawn. I might just be paranoid.

well.... you can roll back your version, and join a current version server. when the game gets stuck on loading shut it down. Reupdate, and log back in and you should spawn on the coast. bugs are fun.

You can convert DMR rounds to m24 rounds by rightclicking them. DMR ammo is all over the place. The M24 while not NVG compatable is a solid sniper rifle with two levels of zoom and great acuracy, not to mention it can be zeroed in. I've only used it a few times but i'd say that for sniping during the day near a populated area, it is a good choice. Personaly i say learn to use the DMR since it is compatable with NVGs

Sure, maybe I die alot. I'm getting smarter all the time. Me and my partner don't like to camp. We spot a target and stalk him in a city. Ambush him, or pin him in a building. I'm learning what to look out for from other bandits all the time. I love the intensity of pvp in this game. Anyways... I keep trying to convince my crew that after we get medium gear (AKMs, 1866s and what not) we should leave electro/cherno and go to Stary, or the NWAF for pvp. They are discoraged by how easy it is to die and spend 30 minutes running back. How do other bandit groups deal with this risk vs reward delima? Does it come down to secureing a camp or car, having your buds camp your dead body, or is it all about just playing so cautiously you never die?

It was late and I was slightly drunk in Electro. No weapons, my partner was unconsious near the hospital. I ran into a house and saw a downed player with an AKM and a chez pack. I had no gun and he wasn't dead. I had to think fast before he came to. I ran outside and trained a small horde of zombies into the house. I ran out again to grab some more and saw the school and realized i was in the wrong house. That was my partner on the ground. RIP Paul.

I was on a private server full of care bears. me and my partner had just respawned after being hunted down by the carebear coalition and their heli. A guy named Gary saw us and asked who we were on side chat. I knew he was new, he said so. and I knew the coalition had just given him a bizon SD. I knew he was stalking us in cherno, but most importantly I knew were he was. My budy was on top of the hospital and i rounded a corner, with my double barel and was face to face with Gary. "I'm Friendly," He said in a thick Euro acent. I unloaded two slugs into him droping him to the ground. I walked behind him slowly reloading my shoty as he begged in direct chat. "No, no, Please don't kill me. I'm Friendly. Please no!" It felt aweful, but you shouldn't stalk a known bandit, and it was fun running around with the bizon for a bit. They sent a heli after me again.

Yes, fix the hacks, and the script kidies, and the other problems. But seriously? Grow a pair. yes some times its better to run, but when you can poof yourself out of real life combat let me know, I'll find a way to set you up with a military contract.

I'll support it. I just feel gimped when i round a corner and am face to face with an M4 to my Kobra.

I don't go out of my way to kill new players. (Like some ass hates i've seen going up and down the coast in cars.) However, If I see you running in electro or cherono, or you pop your head around a corner I'll probalby shoot you on reaction alone. Sorry, thats how it goes. Trust no one. Now that being said, I've also laid in wait at the botom of a fire station with a hatched and killed well armed players as they leave the tower. Its great fun.

I got to say... i hate your bastardization of a Walking dead quote. You sound like a good group of guys though.

Well, I'm a statistics type guy, and I like your methode of data gathering, but would feel better if I knew you had strong records to back this up (i.e. Server names, and what had been done on each server, what servers you had some one using a map hack and how far away they were from you.) To clarify, I personaly wouldn't want to see the list of servers but knowing that it was there would go a long way for me.

I like the idea of being able to lock doors. But as I recall very few locks/doors would stand up to a good shot gun blast or axe. I'm hoping that in the stand alone there will be a way to make places that are more secure, not just a tent city that can be raided in the 20+ hours a day that you are not on line.
