    Super lag?

It could be the server, since the server code for arma 2 can buckle under high loads. Another thing is try running the game higher then normal. The way that Arma 2 works is when you turn down the graphical settings, it starts sending more of the processing information to the CPU, not the GPU. If you have a CPU that is slow, even with 4 cores, Arma 2 can still bog down. Another thing you can try is not even running Day Z, but regular Arma 2, and go into a editor game and fool around in there, seeing what your computer can actually handle in terms of an empty map. Another problem with Arma is the more npcs on the server, the slower the server will run(IF not being run from a professional server system), which in turn will make you lose frames. It has been noted by Bohemia that the server structure in Arma 2 was not the best, and they urged the lead coder, for Arma 3, to go back into the structure and rewrite parts of it, optimizing it. With that, Arma 3 will run better, and servers will have a better way of negotiating 200-300 zombies, plus players on one server. Hope it helps, if you have any more questions or comments, feel free to ask. -Frontlinegear
