  1. You don't think it's possible that a guy could flank a sniper who's scanning cherno in the tree line? It would be dumb to try and kill a sniper all the way from cherno. You have to constantly be under cover and if you get shot at, determine where the shots are coming from and flank their ass. Distance doesn't matter once you're getting flanked. Out play the person. Out maneuver them. Don't come on the forum whining about their weapon. Lmfao. My point was that its idiotic and childish to come on this forum and complain about weapons being OP. Stating the specs of a sniper doesn't show me anything. There is still a major difference between a long range rifle and a fucking assault rifle. A player would have to be incredibly skilled to turn around and fire one accurate shot with his sniper before I unload a clip of assault rifle ammo into him.
  2. ITT: People who can't handle dying from getting sniped by another player. Seriously? How childish can some people be? It seems like in every shooter game, if a person dies by some medium they think that the medium by which they were killed should be removed from the game. Am I the only one who considers this to be childish? Oh *whine whine* someone killed me with a sniper or with this and that, they shouldn't be allowed to use it. Hm. What if I'm a sniper and I'm getting flanked by a guy with an M16 and they kill me by firing off a few shots in rapid succession, would it be acceptable for me to whine and complain about assault rifles being overpowered and that they should be removed from a game? No, it wouldn't. If you ask me, unless someone is exploiting or hacking the game, ANY medium used to kill another player is acceptable. No matter if its a grenade launcher, an RPG, a satchel charge, a sub-machine gun, a sniper or an assault rifle. It doesn't matter. The truth is that you people wanting snipers to be removed or any weapon to be removed are just sore-losers. Really. Now. As far as one shot snipers go, I would LOVE to see you get shot by a .50 caliber sniper rifle (or any rifle for that matter), get up, and live to tell the tale. The whole point of a sniper rifle (especially high powered, bolt action rifles) is that the ONE precision shot from the wielder of said sniper yields and rewards a kill. Just as the whole point of an assault rifle is to suppress an enemy and fire off as many accurate shots as you can until the wielder of said assault rifle yields and rewards a kill. It would be completely pointless for a sniper to require two shots in order to kill a player (especially in a game). Why? Because its absolutely fucking ridiculous to shoot a person with a high powered rifle designed to kill from long distances with one shot from hundreds of meters away just for them to lose a little blood and scurry around a corner, Unless the game developers plan to introduce a system where certain limbs can be shot off or impaired by shots from a weapon, then shots to the arm, leg, and general body should always yield a kill for a sniper. Of course, this is up for debate. Maybe shots to the arm/hand/appendages shouldn't yield kills, but i'd say that anywhere in the general body should be for sure, always, a one shot kill. tl;dr shut the hell up. stop whining. play the game. Thank you, Skrod.
