This server is now also accessible through the dayz tunngle lobby. Once logged into tunngle and in the first arma 2 dayz lobby you can select lan on your pc and my server should be displayed.

Most of the exploits including dupes don't work on private hives as long as the admin is smart enough to edit the mission file or download a new one. There are several patched ones online.

Yea only problem with that is you can't IP ban unless it is on a local machine not through a site.

Btw if you won't ban regulars for combat logging your a baddie and desperate. I autokill the first time and then ban the 2nd. If they don't learn and get a ban it is their loss, only will have to happen once or twice to never be a problem again.

I will be updating the server on 9/20 sometime around 12pm cst. I have some vehicle spawns to add and some tweaks to perform on battleye. Downtime should be 1-2 hours.

Is your server hosted locally or through a website? Do you have IP bans or just the standard battleye? (Don't deflect by talking about your antihax all those programs are only little better then battleye by itself) Do you run a whitelist or password?

Anyone who says that their server is hacker free is full of shit. I consider my hive to have very few hackers and I still need to reset it at least once a day from some script kiddie being retarded and pulling all the vehicles in or killing all players. Not to mention if I were a hacker and read this post I would probably log into the server and pull some shenanigans. Don't dare the hackers they may be retarded but they will fuck you up just because you said that the server is hacker free.

@SGuzz - Thanks man I appreciate the feedback. @F4T - Once I manage to find a stable working release of takistan that can be hosted off a privately owned computer I will have a takistan server hosted. Until people have the ability to IP ban and shit hacking will be a big problem the villayer takistan hives.

Yea that shouldn't be a problem. As a heads up if they are russian you should give me their names. I am pretty distrusting of russians on the server right now because of 39 ip bans around 20 were russian and of the russians the joined the server pretty much all were hackers.

It is already there under the about server/internet section.

Why would anyone join a server where the admin cannot spell private?

The private hive will be down for a few hours today while I setup a version of bliss instead of saintly bliss. This should remove having 50 vehicles at every vehicle spawn. Server is back up and running under Bliss Hive.

By the way your a idiot for grabbing a as50 tws. Go online and google a full list of dayz weapons. Memorize it and don't pick anything up not on that list for any reason. If you do it is your fault you got banned.

I would rather be on a private hive where the admins get some false bans occasionally then one of the servers that the admins never do any work. Which would be most servers. I have banned people on my hive for strange behavior without much evidence. You have to, battleye is shit and these hackers come up with new idea's every day. One of the new all-in-one hack scripts doesn't even show up on any server logs at all.

NP man I just tell it how it is and I have done a lot of computer security work in my day. Also Byrgesen if you have any hacks that you find are commonly a problem if you send me what the hack does and a copy of it occuring in your logs I can probably help you make a manual patch until battleye makes a permanent fix.

The first 2 the only way to really catch is a active admin with a map. The godmode hack can only be caught if the person using it is a moron using a outdated software. It does not currently leave any footprint in any of the logs. What I have found in my history of catching hackers on dayz hives is that your best weapon is a admin that actively checks logs and navicat to see gear changes. Most hackers are dumb they come in and spawn all the accessories + as50/dmr or m107. If you appear on a private hive geared to the teeth your probably using hax.

Dude if you think the script kiddie moron hackers that attack dayz servers made it so you can't join servers and your game crashes all the time your wrong. It is because your obviously a moron who can't handle anything. Before you open your mouth thinking you know anything about hacking or computers you should think about how many people out there that do that will know your full of shit and retarded. Yea you got called out on the dayz forum for calling your computer and internet shitty performance a hacker problem. Don't be a baby this is alpha shit happens cry a little more. Plus it's a bus, it isn't like he took a car worth stealing. You don't even have any real proof he was hacking, dayz can create a visual appearance of you walking underwater when you leave a submerged vehicle. These hackers aren't working on walk underwater hacks they are working on things they can actually use against players.

The server is going to be shut down and replaced by a chernarus server. I have decided to do this for several reasons including wanting a larger player base and easier resolution for glitches and problems. My server has had several problems that I have had little to no info online to resolve. I apologize for any difficulties this causes anyone but I get sick of players connecting 1 day and not being able to connect for no good reason the next and I do not have time anymore to create a manual fix for any problem that arises.

There will likely be another hour of downtime on 9-13 around 12. To update to the latest beta patch and add some additional vehicles.

Server is going down to receive a upgrade to 1.7.2.6 as well as to fix a few other things. Should be down for 2-3 hours. Starting right around 12PM CST.
