I have a server with HFB. They've teamed with Vilayer and are using Vilayer's hive and server files. It's been two days and my server refuses to spawn vehicles. I made a ticket about it... reply was "may take up to two days" to spawn vehicles, which is bullshit... I've run 3 different servers, with different mods and run a home server... none ever took more than 3-4 hours to spawn vehicles. I've tried contacting HFB again, to no avail. I just want some bloody vehicles. This is getting annoying as all hell. Is there anyway for me to fix it or do I have to wait for HFB to see my ticket, contact Vilayer, wait for Vilayer to see that, and make the corrections. I don't understand why they couldn't just go through with their own Fallujah they had in the works with Pwnz0r. Fucking annoying shit.

While I'm glad you got your Fallujah server running... bit steep cancelling over Fallujah when it's Vilayer's fault that it's not working on HFB in the first place. Oh well... enjoy your shitty support. :)

None of their Fallujah servers are accessible.

Gigantor was banned for "Guily by association" with a "script kiddy". Except... I know him IRL... I'm the only other guy he plays with and I certainly don't hack.. tldr; ADMIN of AU 213 is a retard.

Yeah that's it. My server is in Seattle and I get 234 ping. Perfectly fine. Not an issue at all :)

Absolute story of my life when it comes to Vilayer. They are in way over their heads and they don't seem to give a shit about their customers after they get their money. That's why I like HFB... I hadn't even ordered a server with them yet and made it clear I wasn't really going to order one for a couple of months, but they still answered each and every one of my questions straight away... I ended up cutting that couple months short and signed up ASAP and, with exception to this one ticket, they have ALWAYS replied to my tickets and fixed my problems within a timely manner. The ONLY reason I was with Vilayer was because they host in Australia. But even their locations were a bloody lie. They lost me on that.

I got a reply from HFB. I wrote this because I was a little annoyed at the wait time on my ticket (HFB are usually EXTREMELY good at tickets and I don't hold this one against them... still love you HFB). Their reply was; "We are aware of the vehicle spawning issue. I'm terribly sorry about it, but we're working to fix it ASAP" Exactly this. It was extremely disappointing to find that they were in fact using VIlayer's hive and files! Especially in the face of the fact that Pwnz0r over at tunngle supposedly working on a HFB specific Fallujah. Then add on to that, the statement that they will be working with Vilayer in the future with new maps. Very much not what I was looking forward to :( I like HFB's prvate hive. But I'm really not interested in Chernarus or Lingor anymore. I was about to cancel my server until HFB announced Fallujah. They still very much are excellent server hosts! Don't get me wrong. I just wish they had their own Falljah and hive. Maybe use the same server files but use their own hive.

Nah... had to check their forums, where a "contributor" posted a differnet dropbox link for working hotfix files... the ones in OP are no good.

Vilayer keep adding new shit? How about working on supporting what you already have.

As you can tell from our customer invoice, we ordered a server in Adelaide, South Australia. After two weeks of finding conflicting reports of ping, Alongside a tracert from Adelaide, I had a friend in Sydney do one as well. A consistency of 56ms from my end, in Adelaide versus a consistency of 11ms from his end, in Sydney. Add on top of that, an email from them to my co-admin who ordered a lingor server that they had "no more stock in Sydney", despite also ordering an Adelaide server shows that they know that the server is not in Adelaide, and in fact in Sydney. Last time I checked, that was false advertising. Sydney and Adelaide are half a country removed from each other. This is no trivial matter.

Don't go with Vilayer. Check out HFB Servers. Definitely better.

I know that private hives are not officially supported here, so I'm asking the community. How do I activate the sidechat? I have, afaik, access to all of the pbo files, etc.

After coming from Vilayer, the support at HFB is ridiculously good. Coming from asking questions and getting a "we're working on it" type response to going to HFB's *actually answers the questions you have and let's you know exactly what's going on*, I can't believe I ever cancelled my service with them HFB > Vilayer 10 fold.

Well, this (on top of Vilayer's incompetence) is why I'm moving to private hive. That way, the entitlement ends with me.

sigh Between myself and a friend, we have two servers with them. One newly purchased, one transferring from DayZ hive to theirs. Servers are in Australia. We will admit to stupidly modifying config files which apparently caused the download to stall... but since then it's been 4 days for him, 3 days for me and we're still waiting on this. I'm starting to regret ever leaving HFB Servers. No offense to them, but their one dayz support guy, Casey, obviously can't handle ALL of the servers. They need to bring in some help for him. I'd even implore them to stop selling their Australian servers when they can't even get the current load set up. Between being told the servers were in a location they most definitely were not (half way across the country!) and waiting over half a week for things to be set up despite claims of "Instant set up"... I really have no faith left here for Vilayer. And I really don't think they care. I asked for a refund several days ago and they offered to move me on to their own hive instead and into the package deal. I decided to stick by them, give them another chance, and it's backfiring on me. The question now is do I wait another day, and hope it comes (and if it doesn't, then it's the weekend and there goes two more days with no communication) or do I take my money right back to HFB now? I'd rather an international server over no server at all.

I implore Vilayer to hire more team members. It's quite apparent that Casey is handling the majority of the tickets, and no offence to him, but I think he may be a little overwhelmed by the amount of support needed.
