Well, we've worked it out, I'm not getting the refund and will be staying. But I think this is a fair warning to others looking to host. You can call it nit picking but I call it honesty. As someone who switched providers simply because I wanted an Adelaide server, this was not a pretty thing to discover. I will admit I was initially pissed off at this and wanted to transfer immediately but as stated, I've decided against it. That doesn't change the fact that they have incorrectly stated the server locations. That's akin to stating a Seattle server location and getting a... idk... Oaklahoma server? -

Nit picking? Ok, well, let's say you go to the shop and buy a namebrand cereal. Only to come home and find out that the supermarket just placed a sticket over the top of generic brand cereal to make it look like name brand. Would you be fine with that? -

This is now confirmed by the staff and I have been offered a full refund. -
Check out the Arma 2 Rcon GUI Also, after speaking with their support, with their private hive, they are allowing BERcon. Considering switching back to HFB from Vilayer.

Typical "Community Support". I don't think I've ever seen a post where they are not patronising the community. Anyway, the hive is over-rated and buggy as all hell. Private hives are the future of this game, so I suggest you set up your own hive. DayZ staff just don't know how to run things with this many servers and players.

My timer is stuck, it does not appear to be going down at all, no matter how long I leave it. I was originally killed by a teleport hacker (yes we had proof and he was banned). But I was afk at the time so when I got back to my PC I saw the death screen and didn't know what happened. Loaded back in to being on the coast with a broken leg, bleeding, and unconscious. The bleeding stopped on it's own for some reason but I'm stuck here with a broken leg and a non-moving timer. What can I do?

Share your experience? We have another server hosted in Seattle with HFB but we're not really all that happy with HFB's backend, so have requested a cancellation.

The fix here, as tested by myself, is to downgrade your server to 1.7.2.4 as 1.7.2.5 is just too unstable and doesn't really offer anything to force you onto it yet anyway. -
Any other Vilayer customers unable to connect to their backend? Edit: Nevermind, it was my end problem. Just want to say- I have DayZ hosting with both HFB and Vilayer and I can say without a doubt that Vilayer are most certainly the better of the two in terms of support. Extremely prompt replies and very supportive and patient. Thanks guys :)
