this problem will be fixed with the coming player controller. until this time there will no loot spawn in those buildings and noone should go into them. all fine

tbh this game is about fireguns. you will not live long enough to get a good melee fighter. someone will find this "one" bullet which fits to his gun and your head.

there was an post from hicks a while ago where he said, most of the glitching in objects will be "auto fixed" with the new player model and working now on the glitching is wasting time.

there are different versions of the game when you "hook" exp. in steam, with hooked exp. the background at starting and server joining "feels" normal. with stable version comes an download (2,4 mb) and starting background is blue and server joining takes much longer. don´t think its only an BE update, there must be more "features" in this small download.

i am to,but these are mostly servers for exp. builds and with bad luck, BI took it down to test internal an new exp. build. happened two times to me.

nice to see that there are people out there that don´t jump from towers or suicide because their toon is ill and that is bad when you are only online to pewpew, you are the best´s :thumbsup: i hope you guys will be fine after your struggle, thats how dayz works and for what i love it

i agree with you, but i think the "real" dayz playerbase will be back when this game is finished. the pewpew people will leave when its finished and BI has made the most money they could earn with this game. so, it will take a while to swap but it will

Are oil barrels no longer persistent on stable ?

barrels are persistent on stable for 45 days. could be stolen or persistent reset from admins. my barrels are still on their place since last persistent wipe. i only place my camps on, i hope, officially servers hosted from fragnet. EDIT: ninjaaad :ph34r: -

exp. servers online (4.2 MB update) and the "old" chars are alive, but camps are wiped. good that my two toons always log out with an barrel in hands :D oops, wrong thread, sorry

you need an barrel and fertilizer in it to tann pelts, the "old" version with gardenlime/fertilizer without barrel didnt work anymore

in the last couple of weeks, there was every night an update in the internal testservers (including weekend). this is new, in the past there was one or two the week. for me it looks like they are near to get the new engine running and bring it to experimental, but this is only my opinion and a bit of hope :blush:

how are helicopter crash sites working in 0.58 stable

today it tried serverhopping at the kamenka helispawn point (i have all i need for living until earth blows up and nothing more to do for me), i found in 1,5 hours of hopping 8 crashes on that place. i throwed all usefull gear in the ocean, but for clans this will be an easy way to find their mil. gear. (found 3 akm, 2 with mags around, ump, steyer with mags and some smershvests with pack) place some clan members around the map with spawnpoints and hopp every 5 minutes, horrible but very effective, much much more effective as hopping in nwaf or mishkino tents. for me, the 4hour timer is to short, better 10 or 12 hours respawn to fight a bit against the hoppers. -

i can´t, they will stay 4 hours before despawn. you can try to find one and then sit and wait until it despawn to know which time they spawn, but that sounds not to be a funny time. eventually we can calculate it from the time .58 hits stable (at this time all 3 choppers have been spawned) and all 4 hours they did new, but i don´t know the exact time when the servers came back last week Edit, as i wrote that, i found one crashsite, i will sit in the bushes and wait...all for sience :blush: EDIT2: https://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/228702-how-are-helicopter-crash-sites-working-in-058-stable/ there is an other thread where someone said, they despawn after 4 hours BUT respawn after 12 or 24 hours.... so, we will never know how it works. EDIT3: someone saw me watching the chopper and shot me in the face...no more watching >:(

2. yes, choppers will despawn and respawn at an other place of the map after 4 hours

you can empty them, fill them with water (tried it last week but could it ony fill up to 14%) and trink it without poisining when you emptied the gas before refilling. what to trucks happen when use water instead of gas...don´t know
