I had an idea for the vehicles, in dayz mod it was relatively easy to fix cars and get them going when in reality its much harder i was thinking maybe instead of having just an engine block having smaller components such as alternator, battery, oil filter head gasket and other components making it a lot harder to repair cars so not everyone is driving around in them i mean you could always put scrap cars in that you can scavenge off . Oh and instead of just finding a tool box find different tools for different jobs like spanners and ratchet sets stuff like that and make it so you don't just click fix this or attach that make it time consuming it would bring life skills into the game and make a mechanic or someone who knows how to do it valuable in a team. There is a game called gear head garage now if you have a look at it i don't mean make it exactly like that but maybe something along the lines having to bolt and unbolt and maybe having to find oil to put in the car instead of just petrol it would bring a lot more danger and nerve into it because say you were planning a run into a major town and you have a running car, how long will it actually run for so it would be nervous times if you were stuck in cherno with a broken vehicle and trying to fix it at road side surrounded by zombies so it would bring a whole new feel to the game and make for a lot more drama. Its just an idea guys would love to see it in play and implemented in the game i am a mechanic btw lol so maybe i want it more than others but would be cool if you like the idea comment andif we get enough they might just put it in

yer thats what i was saying make it so you actually need to know how to do it to identify wats missing and whats wrong like a mechanic really would do i hate games where u read a book and know it all i would love it to be like "OMG you are a mechanic you can repair cars you gotta join us" sorta thing just like medics and other stuff make it so that there is actually some knowlage that needs to be there yer most people know basic medical stuff but put some fancy shit in there so again a medic is valuable (when i reffer to medics and mechanics being valuable i mean real life medics and mechanics not skills in game )

while it is a valid point that they shouldn't make zombies slower for the simple fact it would be too easy the general idea of zombies is that they are brain dead and run on primary functions so eating they lack any intelligence so making them smarter would in its self take the realism out of the game well as real as zombies are but you get my drift. but i guess what they could do is make them slower but put a lot more zombies in place so it is harder to do what needs to be done

hey all i just would like some insight into which recorders and editors people use because i am think of making some vids but don't know which ones to get

now that's not so true i snipe from time to time and i never shoot new spawns or people that are running around with an enfield for the simple reason they have nothing i snipe for gear simple as i agree with you tho im sick of snipers that just kill for the shear hell of it and don't loot its anoying

its a bug there are ways to force it to happen but i wont talk about them but i guess if your doing it on accident then you shouldn't feel to bad about taking some stuff off your self like ammo and such

Hey all i know this is a relatively small idea but it occurred to me while playing a night server little earlier on that if you don't have NVG's then night servers suck and you cant use flashlight because when you move faster it shakes around like a bitch and you cant see a fucking thing , So what i am proposing is like a flashlight that is hooked on your chest so that when you are moving there is less shaking and you can see more, you could make it as a separate item to find or something I don't know but the idea is there so leave me comments and tell me what you think.

i understand that some people want the traditional flashlight how it is but other people would like the idea and by the sounds of it the light in lingor is pretty unstable

Erm wow i love realism in games but i think that is a little too in depth putting children into the game in my opinion crosses a moral line because not everyone would see it wrong to shoot the child and even on a game its a sick thing

I like the idea but what would stop anyone getting a picture of the map and putting it in paint and marking there stuff on, it would take extra time to develop the software and make the app and that time could be better spent improving Dayz but i do like the idea maybe after standalone has come out

yer there still in the game i have found 3 in the last hour but problem is on a server with no one on but me the zombies wasn't spawning neither was any loot, now i know what people are going to say that someone looted them but even when someone looted them there is normally at least trash or something they didn't want but literally nothing

If you cant get yourself out id just suggest full sprint (if you can) and let your hunger and thirst kick in and let yourself die and just respawn

There is a bug where you change you clothes and it can raise it, so if you have changed clothes lately could be that
