ty guys I have been tweeking and pulling my hair out.. I have it pretty good now.. but that HDR is still driving me crazy.. ty for the link I will definatly be checking that out.

Hey Guys, Have some quick question about the visual settings in day z. well actually only one.. is there anyway to turn off the HDR? it is driving me nutz, when i'm walking threw the woods the screen gets bright then dark then bright then dark.. same when the sun is out or goes behinde a cloud.. its a cool concept, but it just gets annoying.. I have been watching a lets play of day z from this gentlemen: his visuals seam perfect, the HDR seams to have some effect but not a real lot.. another question I have is.. why is far away objects sometimes so blurry.. is it have somthing to do with the screen rez, and the 3d rez .. i belive it is.. I cant wait for this game to go stand alone ... so much more freedom for the devs.. cant wait to seewhat thye come up with :) I'm sure I will think of other questions so i'll update this topic when I do :D thanks for any info guys.. P.S. out of curiosity.. whats everyones graphics set to? low..high.. ultra..

ty for all the tips and help guys :) I am using commander.. I would do it manually but you know what.. I would rather have a 3rd party program help me update the game instead of having to unzip exstract overwrite and all that crap lol. to each there own.. ty again guys happy hunting :)

Hey guys, sorry if this has been posted, just wondering if day z works with the new play with six? or do I have to use the old SIX launcher? thanks for any info Nightscar

going to piggyback this thread for a second, my question is similar. can you use the play with six program? or do you have to use the old six updater?
