I'm guessing you're referring to the hill about 800 meters from Elektro. This hill is typically crawling with bandits on most high population servers. Points of interest include the three pine trees near the edge of the forest.

OP, you should try restarting your computer or checking your internet connection. Also, check your ping on the servers you play on. Try different servers. Restart your router if you have one.

Have you considered that he might have tried that and found no results? People come to the forum to ask questions, being a dick isn't going to change that.

I've been almost avoiding ghille suits ever since humanity was implemented. I can verify that on the server "US 1030" there is a huge tent camp in Cherno full of loot. When I went there, there was at least 8 pairs of Civilian Clothes. You can check that out.

I just died on this server (I don't know how, I was checking the forums, came back, dead) and so I disconnected and reconnected to respawn. I ended up in Novy Sobor inside of a building. Sorry if this is known, but what happened? Are there hackers on the server?

I hate it when people post this shit. There are combat loggers, server hoppers, hackers, dupers, and then you go off complaining because you spawned in Kamenka. Get over it, this is DayZ, jump off the bridge west of the town.

Servers can get extremely laggy in a very annoying fashion. You can hit someone directly during a server freeze-up but have to wait until the next server tick to register. You probably hit him multiple times but it took a long time for the actual hit to register. As for the vehicle disappearing, the player may have been driving during the freeze-up and it is stopped somewhere ahead of your position. And, like that brony said, possible hacker.

Those snipers really aren't bandits. They're just assholes who have sucked all of the fun out of DayZ for themselves and others. Bandits with assault rifles are much more enjoyable, especially if they don't combat log.

Update on the loot, still some lingering primary weapons. No coyote backpacks, no ghillie suits, no NVGs, no rangefinders. Mostly AKs and ammo, as well as food and water and other ammo. There is also a tent near the fire station with some primary weapons and other loot. No more sniper rifles, I got the last one (an M24), but the surrounding buildings in Chernogorsk seem to be untouched. I found a ghillie suit in one of the pubs. Good luck!

Anytime I spawn Elektro-side, I head for those hills that are dripping with snipers. Sneak up behind them, open their backpacks. So far, this has worked two times out of five attempts, and its hilarious. I'm hoping that one day I find a fancy gun in a backpack and can kill the sniper with his own weapon. Try this sometime when you spawn. Too fun.
