  1. He Man version of "What's Up" for five solid minutes, it's like the whole server goes into panic mode.

    Mountain dew

Mountain Dew is as rare as residential ghillie suits, and anyone who dies with one in their possession is a fool for not performing the sacred ritual of the Three Sodas.

    best glitch

This happened to me randomly after rejoining a server when I was kicked for some script restriction (Script Restriction #20). I found it pretty funny :D

    best glitch

    Indeed :P

    To dio/duo whichever it is.

You're the problem with DayZ. Fuck off.
  6. I admit I do dream about DayZ way too much, and I do tense up a little whenever I hear the sound of a helicopter overhead.

    Shotguns! Who loves them?

I can't say I like shotguns very much. The pellets can be useful against both players and zeds when they're ten meters away from you. With slugs, it's just a short-ranged rifle with tiny clips. I'd swap a shotgun for any other gun, whether Makarov or Lee Enfield.
  8. Personally I find first person only servers to be a lot more fun, but in 3DP servers, I use it indefinitely. The only problem is there are so damn few first person only servers! Right now, the most populated 3DP:OFF server has seven people.

    List of hacked equipment

Golden AK, silenced PDW, M4 Holo SD, that desert-camo sniper rifle (can't remember the name)...

You know you play to much DayZ when..

... When you drive by an open field and search for helicopter crash sites.
  11. Its more likely that the server just rendered two tents rather than one.
  12. I've roamed all of the plains surrounding Stary Sobor, Berezino, and the NW Airfield without finding a chopper. Is there only one per server? Is the amount random (1-#)? Thanks.
  13. I'm not saying that banditry doesn't have it's moments, because it certainly does. I was recently a bandit and worked hard to earn the hero skin. I was swaggering about Elektro in a populated nighttime server with my NVGs, when I came across another hero. He also had NVGs. We did the standard Q and E dance to show our good intentions, when an M107 shot rang out and struck right in front of the other hero. We both bolted into the schoolhouse. I had my L86A5 AWS, and he had a DMR. He told me to go to the roof and lie down. I went up to the top roof. The sniper was using an M107, so he couldn't land a shot anywhere near me, though I did hear a few shots go off. I thermal'd the area and found where the sniper was, to the far right of the infamous triple pine trees. He had a ghillie suit and was scoping the area with binoculars or rangefinders. I pressed L and turned on the laser-designation-thing on the gun. My DMR wielding friend took the shot, came short, then fired two more which hit the mark. The thermal reading on the sniper faded. I scored a GPS and a ghillie suit. My new friend got a rangefinder and M9SD. This is one of the most exciting experiences I've had so far, despite the stupidity of the sniper, and it was all thanks to the hero skin. As a bandit it was a free for all for gear. As a hero there is much less shooting on sight, and a common goal. To any of you who haven't tried out the hero skin, do it.

Being a hero is MUCH more fun than banditry

I know, that pisses me off. Blood bags should be very rare, especially compared to antibiotics. About the time 1.7.2.5 was released, I saw some asshole shoot a guy in the leg, bloodbag him, morphine him, and repeat. I killed that guy and that's how I first became a bandit. ;)

    Underrated Weapons

The Winchester 1866, it's just a badass. Boom, zombie dead, sweet noise, low noise, 15 round clips, common residential ammo.

Being a hero is MUCH more fun than banditry

The point is, we were attacked. If I attacked you and you decided to kill me it would be completely acceptable.

DayZ realism (NEEDS Smoke and Liquire)

There is absolutely no reason for this. Add it.

Anyone know of a good small village

GotOwned listed off my favorite spot. That barn in Novy Lug is a great spot. I have a motorcycle and a resupply tent that has never been touched.

A m4 holo is not hacked?

M4 Holo is not a hacked weapon. M4 Holo SD is a hacked weapon.

Are all the 20 minute players gone?

I still see plenty of ragequit threads, but the forum seems to be mostly flooded with "I FOUND A THERMAL AS50 CAN I GET BANNED FOR HAVING IT?"

    Born Bandit?

Your humanity carries over in some glitchy fashion. You are not a permanent bandit, if you wait long enough or blood bag enough people, you will return to survivor status and can eventually become a hero if you want to.

    Zombie Noises

My personal favorite: "FUCK THAT HURTS"
  23. I've got a tractor in perfect condition besides having no fuel. I've also got a full jerry can in my immediate inventory, and I don't have the option to refuel it in my actions menu (I have other options in the menu present). Where do I have to look on the tractor to refuel it?

    I Ask Elektro Snipers This

I admit that I have sniped into Elektro, killing unarmed players. I killed about five before I realized I was a total douche. I did it because when I was playing with a friend and was spotting for him with an AS50 while he looted the NW Airfield, I got to kill a guy, and there was a lot of satisfaction in it. Shooting someone from 700 meters away or your friend will die? It was exciting. I wanted to do that again, but there just weren't enough opportunities. I saw this huge hill outside one of the most popular places in the game and I couldn't resist. Sorry to those five people I killed.

Blaming DayZ for DayZ Commander, an unofficial launcher, not being perfect?
