This has happened to me before. I was killed by seemingly nothing, and then when I rejoined the server I was dead but still had a free camera around my corpse. To fix it, I turn my settings as high as they go and run a Fraps video to bring my FPS down to about 3-6 - after that, press Escape and hit the respawn button as quickly as possible.

I found one before in the barracks with one shot. When I fired it off, nothing big happened. It is truly just a great big sniper rifle.

This is the big question, what to do at "endgame." When I reach it I get some friends together and plow into Chernogorsk, killing all the zombies, killing all the bandits, helping who we can, and eventually dying. It's much more fun when you have vehicles, as well. Good luck.

I saw a hacker shoot his own medical box with a rapid-fire crossbow and it lit on fire. Not sure if it was destroyed for sure because he killed me immediately afterward by spawning a helicopter on me.

I've seen plenty priest infected, but I've never seen a doctor infected. That's cool. I'll keep my eye out for them.

Now, I've changed many settings, including Visibility, object detail, just about everything, but bandits still look like heroes until you're within shooting range of a hatchet. I play on High graphics settings and use my desktop resolution (1920x1080p). Does anyone else have this problem?

Sorry, but I just don't like this sort of idea. DayZ was and hopefully will remain a simulation, not a game. I don't want to see any implementing of NPCs, or quests, or safe-zones.

I understand that this game wouldn't be as good as it is without all the individually chosen play styles, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to flame people for what they chose.

Like Maca said. Say you have a backpack with 8 slots, you put a can of coke in it. It will go from 8/8 to 7/8. I misinterpreted this at first as well.

I'm just going to throw out the same spiel when these threads come up: It is not DayZ's fault that there are hackers. BattleEye is doing what it can. This is not going to be fixed until standalone. Play on private hive servers, Lingor servers, or low population servers. If you see people being killed in alphabetical order leave the server. Lastly,

Every post I've made on this forum has been racked up while waiting on loading screens. Some servers are better than others; just today, I found one that only takes sixteen minutes to load.

You're making a lot of assumptions about my behavior in-game. Generally I don't kill heroes, I keep my eyes on survivors, and I kill bandits. If I'm in a city, it is not to make friends, it is because I needed something. If I happen to meet someone who wants to be my friend, I get a blood transfusion and so do they. Simply put I try to keep my humanity on the positive side. It is a pleasant experience to meet someone and not be shot on sight, something the bandit skin almost always restricts. I don't know how you can call killing on sight to be a legitimate gaming style when an entirely separate side of the game, the social aspect, is ignored.

You can't give someone a blood transfusion if they have 12,000 blood. Giving someone a blood transfusion gives them 12,000 blood. How is it possible to give 10 blood transfusions to the same person?

I have the infinite hourglass glitch and I'm on the very top of the giant sniper tower in Cherno. Backstory: Was climbing up there because I saw a sniper and only had a Winchester. Made my way up but the moment I got there I only managed to pull off a single shot before he unloaded an AS50 clip into me. The screen said "You Are Dead" so I left and joined another server, found myself with full blood and bleeding. The bleeding stopped around 2,000 blood and now I'm just stuck up here. I don't have much loot, but if anyone wants to do me a kindness, please help! D:

The hero skin and bandit skin only applies when wearing Civilian clothing. The effect of the hero skin is removed while wearing a ghillie suit or camo clothing.

You're exploiting blood-bags. Giving someone a blood-transfusion, damaging them, then doing it again, is exploiting.

I am almost constantly zooming in on things. It really doesn't help much for identifying players most of the time.

Good job exploiting the use of blood-bags, asshole. Play the game legitimately. I've been shot by heroes less often than I have been shot by bandits. Might I have the source of this statistic? Oh, you made it up on the spot? Enjoy playing alone and killing everyone you meet.

I was a lying down in one of the Cherno military tents. I Alt-tabbed out to check the forums, and when I alt-tabbed back in, I heard footsteps then saw a bandit. I emptied a Makarov mag into him. Thinking he was dead, I said some apologies, but then I realized he was only unconscious. I epi-penned, bandaged and blood-transfused him, and he explained that he thought I was dead and was looking for some ammo on my corpse. I explained that I didn't have any ammo for my AKM (he also had an AKM) so he gave me a magazine and we went along our merry way. :D

In this economy, we do what we must.

Been playing since early June-ish, and I have never found an SVD Camo, rangefinders, or NVGs at their natural spawnpoints. I've never even seen an SVD in-game, only its ammo. The closest thing I had to an SVD was a hacked in M40A3 which is basically the M24 with ghillie webbing.

Hey guys, I'm just curious if there is some way that heroes can get massive amounts of humanity to the point that they can kill other heroes while retaining the hero skin. I've been killed by other heroes three times. Does killing a super-bandit give you lots of humanity? I've killed plenty of bandits but it has never raised my humanity. Spamming blood transfusions isn't what I mean by this.
