It's like they expect a sniper to think twice when they see your name. I don't know why it pisses me off so much.

Putting on any type of clothing is glitchy. When you can't pick up something after equipping new clothes (usually packs), switch to your sidearm and back to your primary, that will usually fix it. I'm currently using a Coyote backpack with a ghillie. All backpacks work.

That's all fine and well, but spawning on the beach to a waiting sniper's bullet is a much more direct misfortune.

The sniper ran out to check his kill, and I shot him. He's dead; disappointingly, just a CZ550 and camo clothes. The LMG guy didn't have any ammo. Got the NVGs. Cheers!

I've scanned the surroundings, but I'm pretty sure he is in a separate treeline that I can't see from my position. I've been watching this site for twenty odd minutes.

Waiting 11 minutes each time... I'd be waiting an hour per server. 60-70% of servers I join get hung.

Every time I see a survivor my heart skips a beat. This game has brought more emotions out of me than any other.

People who sit on that roof in Cherno are dumbasses. However, walking into Cherno with gear like that and not scanning for snipers makes you a dumbass.

Probably just derping, but can the DayZ staff rollback a player's account or a server? To help with the hacking problem?

The hills surrounding Stary are excellent sniping locations, so as you can imagine, bandits. Watch bushes, look for sniper rifles sticking out, etc.

It could have been chance, but I shot a guy leaving Stary and he disconnected before the bullet hit the ground where he was previously standing. It was at 1,100 meters with an M107.

Well, shit, I'm hung on a loading screen right now. If I close ArmA 2 OA, I'm going to spawn on the beach? Can we get something where if the "Loading" screen takes more than ten minutes it automatically returns to menu?

I think its hilarious that AS50s and crashed helicopters are more common than bicycles

Sidearm: M9 SD: Great weapon for when you're in town and don't want to wake every single zombie/player. Primary: M16A4 ACOG: I love this gun, good for medium distance sniping or close quarters combat. Sniper Rifle: M107: Despite the rare ammo, holy shit. I was in Stary Sobor and shot a bus in Novy Sobor. It exploded. I love this gun so god damn much.

Night vision goggles. Nighttime servers are all but abandoned. I'd like to see NVGs spawning on rare occasions at the fire station, on occasion at the military camps, quite often at the barracks'. I really love nighttime play in this mod, but it seems that no one else does.

The towers are the most terrible places you can be. I seriously can't think of anywhere more awful to be in that city. Also, that bandit you killed was pretty bad if he couldn't shoot a ladder climber.
