Of all the things, hackers, dupers, AS50s, you think that spawning in Kamenka is the game-breaker?

It's stupid in my opinion, but killing bandits lowers your humanity, as 'killing anyone is wrong.' So I was told.

I spawned in Elektro, and went into a red house. I heard someone say over direct chat, "don't shoot me, I'm coming in." A bandit named Daring walked inside. I'm a friendly person, and had a crowbar, so I didn't hit him. Instead, I demanded that he kill me. He said no. I told him I'd hit him with a crowbar if he didn't. He still didn't shoot me. I started hitting him and we both ran outside. He ran to the roof of the school, me still trying to hit him, and fell off the roof. He fell unconscious at some point so I went down there and shot him in the head with a revolver I found at the supermarket. I looted him, and hit the jackpot; coyote backpack, NVGs, rangefinder, M14 AIM with 9 mags, etc., etc. A few minutes after looting the body, a person approached and said "hello." I replied with a hello and ran back into the school, but not before I was shot. I ran upstairs, bandaged myself, and held out with about 3,000 blood. The bandit appeared in the doorway with an AKs-74u Kobra and coyote backpack. I unloaded half the M14 AIM clip into him and he was dead. His name? "Daring". I survived with about 100 blood. :D

I'm curious because in about 10 minutes I found a GPS, Remington 870, AKM, Coyote backpack, and PDW at the Balota airfield in a 40 player server. Does loot regenerate? If so, how regularly?

I told you outright that I was going to hit you with a crowbar if you didn't kill me. Also, strange finding that much loot in a fire station. Guess I misjudged that. Your rangefinders are in good hands.

Best sniper assault rifle is the L85A2 AWS. Thermal and night vision makes it great for spotting, and it is incredibly accurate over long range. M4A1 CCO SD has a gun-breakingly short range, making it pretty awful for long distance PVP situations. M4A1 Holo is as general as assault rifles come. Its good for all situations. If possible, try to fit that L85A2 into your pack, and the M4A1 Holo as primary.

Also confirming. Who knows? Maybe everyone's gear is being reset . . .

I didn't survive a nuke attack. I logged onto the sever, spawned at Elektro, saw blown out buildings, and the sky appeared to be on fire with a huge cloud of smoke.

Plausible? Yes. Likely? On a server with 50+ people, finding a coyote backpack and a primary weapon in the fire station in one of the most popular cities, and popular location for newly spawns? Daring was a hacker, I'm sure. I forgot to mention that Elektro had been nuked, so there was definitely hackers in the server, and the fire station was probably blown up.

Just happened to me, too. Lost a lot of shit (NVGs, Rangefinders, FN FAL)

I was lying down in a ghillie somewhere up far north when I heard a helicopter coming in. I hid in a bush and waited, when suddenly I couldn't see out of my NVGs, so I turned them off to find a white light surrounding me. No flares nearby, I didn't hear an M203 shot. The helicopter was loud as ever, though I couldn't see it. I waited about two mintues and the helicopter flew off. Was this white light a spotlight?

Need some quick gear. Do dupers like to hide their tents in unpopulated servers or populated ones?

I think hacked weapons put an interesting twist into the game. Overpowered or not, it's fun to see these weapons exchanged between players in a cycle that keeps going.

Could have been a hacker using artillery.

So if I run along the northern border on any server than has players some of time I will find tents?

Trick question? No, I just want a better primary since I can't find proper shit anywhere. Dupers tend to have good stuff.

Watching you try to use your night vision goggles to adjust your eyes was so irritating

I try to avoid it, but when I'm walking long distances (or as I like to call it, playing DayZ), I listen to music. However, I have been killed many times because I failed to hear the whiz of a bullet going by. Do you other players listen to music?

I spawned in Cherno today and proceeded to scavenge for about fifteen minutes, finding myself a hatchet, Makarov PM, alice pack, food, drink, and most toolbelt components. I visit the fire station and discover that there are two players inside. They call out "friendly" and I return the call. I saluted and one of them pulled out a Lee Enfield and shot me in the face. Now, I didn't lose much, but I was still upset about it because I thought I was going to make a friend. I spawn in Prigorodki and head back towards Chernogorsk. I plan to kill the fire station murderer as soon as I get a weapon. Visiting the concrete office building that shows up on the eastern entrance, I find a hatchet and head back downstairs when I am greeted by one of my favorite sounds in the game; the buzzing of flies. I get outside of the office building and, there it is. A ghillie-suited corpse. I loot the body and find this: Cheers!

I've got an M4SD and an AS50. Excellent combination of silence and range. I don't see a problem with this loadout.
