I have been playing Dayz for around 10 hours since I restarted my computer last night. When I first got on after the restart I was running really smooth but after a while of playing im now at like 5 FPS, I don't get it.

Ok it seems like when I restart my computer it fixes itself. I keep my computer on for around 5 days then restart it. I don't know if this makes a difference.

Add a shovel item spawn that goes into tool belt, make your guy do an animation standing up about the length of lighting a fire (maybe a little longer). This will make it at least somewhat more realistic.

There could be random train spawns on train tracks that have zombies all around them just like a crashed hele. It should be drivable and run on fuel just like any other vehicle would, with the normal maintenance that comes with a vehicle. Or you could do kinda what im123 was saying except make the second player shovel coal into the engine instead of wood (this would also add some new items like a shovel that you can kill things with and coal).

After I play Dayz for a while my game sometimes develops a stutter and lag that will happen every 1-2 seconds. When I opened Arma 2 operation arrowhead to see if it was just a problem with Arma in general, the game played fine with no lag or stuttering. No matter how low or high I turn the graphic settings it makes no difference with the stutter. My specs are: CPU: AMD A8-3800 APU with Radeon™ HD Graphics CPU Speed: 2.4 GHz Performance Rated at 5.40 GHz RAM: 7.7 GB Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 6550D Graphics with 4.0 GB of video RAM Does anyone else have this problem or knows how to fix it? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Good idea, but a defibulator as a tool belt item is a bit too good. It should be spawned in medical cardboard boxes like 0.5% - 1% of the time with a 50% chance to have 1 charge, a 30% to have 2, a 10% chance to have 3, a 7% chance to have 4 and a 3% chance to have 5 charges or something like that.

Idea 1).....Nty, unless the spawn rate between zombies dying and new ones spawning is fixed. Or if there are alot of dead bodies in the area there could be alot more zombies than normal that wont respawn near the bodies once killed. Idea 2) AWESOME idea and I like the *WALK* part because the zombie always running is annoying as hell, they should only run to the corpse once it is in their immediate vision range. Idea 3) Also a good idea but there should only be a percent chance that they will damage the equipment on the body (the larger the item the higher change it has to get damaged or something like that). After they eat the body the zombies should hang around for a bit kinda like they hang around hele's or something. If anything I said was posted before sorry I just read the main post.

I agree with Haplo about the birds flying around dead bodies, it would make it a lot easier to find them than just listening for an annoying fly sound. Birds flying around a bandit giving his position away is a bit stupid because you are basicly getting a penalty for being a sniper and i'm sure 95% of the community would hate that. The other 2 ideas about the non lethal weapons and the melee attacks are really good and should be added so you don't get screwed over if you run out of ammo in front of 10 zombies or killed because someone wants to check if you have food or something on you.

Right click, take out of tool belt or what ever it says and it will go into ur main weapon slot just like the crowbar would. Please learn a little more about the game before posting suggestions ^^.
