Watched about 2 minutes. I'm a patient, decent person most of the time, but this.. I'd vote for the most useless thread in DayZ-forums history top 10. What the fuck..?

Requirements: ArmA II: Combined Operations DayZ Mod Files (Available on the downloads page) Balls I guess 2/3 ain't that bad...

1. Throw your laptop out of the nearest window and get a desktop. :D /jk 2. Try setting -exThreads= to 7 (I'm not sure if this even helps, but that's where i have it with a quad, AMD though) 3. Keep your "video memory" at default (so it uses the maximum you have), set everything you have on 'Normal' to 'High' minimum. If I remember correctly, anything below 'High' uses your CPU for rendering instead of the GPU. (someone correct me on this, if you have the fact) 4. If none of the above helps, turn HDR off/lower and just go down with your (3d) resolution, until your FPS is reasonable. (I used to play ArmA 2 with my integrated HD 4290 (oc'd) with playable fps, though it wasnt real 'pretty'.)

Hm, I am thickheaded, sure. If you look at a twitter-feed, you are in fact a twitter user, are you not? Anyway, I wouldn't put twitter and these forums in the same box, when using the word 'social media'. If that makes me a hypocrate, so be it. But the info in that link there should be made into a clear thread of it's own, and NOT bury it in fucking page 120, in a thread about the CURRENT update. Should be quite obvious. And not all that hard to do.

I'd assume to see such info in the announcements or info-section of the forums in a stickied thread, but I just can't find it.. And please don't say 'on Twitter' or something similar. I'm bored so I thought I'd make another pointless (probably rage-inducing, hopefully thought-provoking) thread, since it seems to be the common practise. Hmm, I don't think the sniper rifles or their damage need adjusting. Other guns need a big buff, though. And what I would like to see is accurate (realistic) hitboxes, ie if you get shot in the frickin toe with a m107, you dont just insta-die. Maybe bleed quicker or something, but not like it is now.

Hmm, weird. I'm running a radeon hd 6950 2gb and havent had problems, granted I've only been to Balota AF before/after. I'm not sure if it could even be fixed in just one place, but nonetheless, I shall investigate this further (tomorrow). In the meanwhile, if someone can go to Balota and verify that they have issues there as well, that would be cool.

@daedrick Yeh, np mate :) Hmm, I'm sort of with you there, BUT: While I agree that rocket/team should fix this asap themselves, if the mod was to be literally opened up to the community, who's to say that 'we' couldn't fix everything up in there..? I mean, there seems to be so goddamn many experts out there, you'd think that some of them actually would know how to do something..? Yehumm.. If you're really having trouble with avoiding/losing zeds, no offense, but you're doing something wrong. Like someone said earlier, go for the GoogleZ and YouTubeZ, and search for some guides. If I remember correctly DayZ GuideZ (on YT) has a very clearcut video on this very subject. Peace. SD.

Downloaded? As in through Steam, I assume? If so, right-click ArmA 2:OA/properties/local files/verify integrity of game cache. Not sure if this will help, but wont hurt to try.

I'd say that if you bought A2 and OA to play DayZ, then it might be considered paying for DayZ. (and if anyone did that and now complain that the mod 'sucks' or that "now I'll have to pay for DayZ again", then that is their problem and quite frankly, should just shut the hell up and not jump on every bandwagon that strolls by on YT) But there's plenty o'people, such as myself, who bought A2/OA to play A2/OA and then along came DayZ, for free. Not a bad deal for 25ish bucks/euros, I'd say. And I love the fact that DayZ has become so popular, because otherwise we probably wouldnt be getting a standalone and would be stuck with the limitations of the ArmA2-engine forever. And needless to say, I'll be gladly throwing my money at BIS and rocket, for both ArmA 3 and DayZ-the Game.
