when is the server being announced? thought it was now?

i play with a friend using steam voice call, and we coordinate someone's death, sometimes directly in-front of them: Unsettling Axe Murder (Youtube) its the equivalent of having telepathic groups of survivors running around a solution to this would be to force direct chat for everyone, all the time - though would this lag out the server? is some sort of sound detection method (to turn the mic signal on/off) not viable? Mute should still exist for the sake of combating mic spam, unless there is some other fix out there..forcing direct is something i would love to see happen, thoughts anyone?
