    updating of first post would be easier. but then again, these are fairly frequent updates from the main developer - if you cant be bothered keeping up, you will always find out when its actually updated

    ive probably already posted in support, but i just love the idea of spawning somewhat defenseless. might lead to battles over noobs, with white knights trying to pick off those that would spawn camp. would certainly rattle a few cages

  12. i can see it becoming an impossible mess of comatose bodies everywhere, eventually filling up the server with an excessive amount of loot and saved data. but if some wizard wants to come in here and suggest some sort of practical implementation, well that would be nice. thanks for the bump.

    how about the sound effects? the soundtrack that plays, theres like 2 or 3 short musical/industrial files played. do they have any tie to whats happening in the game? maybe if someone spawns near you, a random (or selected) one of those files could be played - it would give justification to the added atmosphere

    there will be people that dont die every 15 minutes, it will set apart those that are surviving longer. yes, clones are a bad thing. but that does not justify persistence of skins. it just highlights the need for randomised starting clothing.

    i cant see how this could turn stand alone considering its a mod of a very complex game.. he would have to match arma 2 engine

    I think there is plenty of that already ;) I do think there is some room to expand the medical system but haven't really looked at that so far. thinking mgs3 level gameplay or more loot?

    i still think the positives that it would add to gameplay + immersion outweigh the inconvenience. the possibilities for player interactions seems promising.
