Pretty sure they always have. When I first got the game I had the single player mod to get used to it and spawned a chopper on one of those islands then spent ages fixing it up. I used a loud sniper a couple of times to shoot Zeds on the opposite shore for lulz while doing it, attracting more and more but thought, what they gonna do swim over en masse and swarm on me? Well they did :D

Played it a few weeks ago and although it looks good it's so small it was just a deathmatch. Also the weather wasn't like Namalsk where you had to worry about the cold. Oh and walking in the snow sounds like walking on styrofoam.

I'm not sure what is worse, you're catchphrase or The Game - Hate it Or Love It. I do quite like your vids though (apart from the catchphrase). How bout you do it in a chipmunk voice just for me next time? :D

Haha yeah I had that happen a couple of times when you KO on a bike. Best one was in Fallujah I cycled up to a spawn point in the middle of nowhere to try and meet a buddy but then went to make a brew. Came back and these three guys were trying to get on the bike and having a discussion about why they couldn't :D They thought I was maybe dead with bike parked on me. "Dude he must be dead, he's not moving". "No way man there's no flies and it doesn't give me the check body option". They got a fright when I cycled off. Rubbish music in the vid btw.

As much as this idea is (IMO) ridiculous, how much fun would it be to wreck someones farm? Imagine how pissed they would be to find all their animals slaughtered and crops trampled :lol:

Haha I think we've all been there. I watched some guys in Felluja force a heli down (it didn't explode) and kill the guys in it then leave in their UAZ. Once it was safe I crawled over to the heli (had a broken leg) in search of precious morphine. Since there was none there I just sat with the door gun and shot the guys that came back presumably for their bodies. I even had one guy crawl under the heli at one point thinking he could get to me with his hatchet. I just aimed the gun as far down as I could and blasted away until I heard flies :D Managed another 2 or 3 guys who just couldn't resist checking out the chopper until I finally got sniped :D

Haha that was pretty good. These kinda moments keep me returning to DayZ.

Yes. This is an excellent idea and could be constantly updated too. Imagine you are unarmed and barely alive after being attacked and chased through the woods by zeds, blurred vision and the like. You make it to a building with several floors and think...yes safety. As you get to the first floor you can hear a faint noise...like alarm...or more like music whaa whaa, whaa whaa...it creeps the shit out of you but something compels you to find it's source. Every floor brings you closer to this sound...it's much louder WHAAA WHAA, WHAA WHAA. You burst into the last room on the floor and there you find a heavily tooled up guy sitting on the floor playing an old busted accordion. He stops playing stands up and....hands you some beans... :D

Yeah but pretty much every server now doesn't allow it. Regardless of that my original comment still stands.

There is a similar thread around here (buried somewhere) probably but I do agree, especially with super duper zombies. I think the zombies should actually be the way they have them now (tweaked obv) as their starting state to dying completely with several states in between.

I've recently been trying to write my name using tents on the sand at the side of smugglers airfield in Panthera :D

We fire up Utes every now and again for some PvP only with clanmates and server regulars. It's great fun to let off a bit of steam. I'm not really that much of a PvPer normally.

This would be the best option IMO too. Also they should be able to grab/bump/push your player who would react with this instead of just standing still as they do now.

I absolutely love the spray paint idea. Yes people would abuse it but so what, it's a game, that's what people do. It could also be a good way to temporarily blind another player and/or mark a player. It should quickly fade on a player and gradually fade on surfaces.
