having a similar problem. i can play for around 10-15 minuets. did similar things to you. about to find out if the suggested changes fix it. just throwing my name in the hat in hopes to get a devs attention. i assume its related to mods needing different versions of battleye. cause on vanilla installs on official servers, i have no issues at all. once i start mixing in mods and different servers, this happens every time without fail.

as title implies, i try to get connect and just get "connecting to host", perpetually. im not sure what the DayZ ports are, but DMZ is always active so i shouldn't have to need the ports, but we'll see. thanks in advance.

sometimes the re spawn button will work when you press escape. but thats only sometimes. other then that? i think your screwed. you could downgrade to a different DayZ version then join a server that isn't the version you downgraded too and you'll have a chance to be re spawned on the shore with all your gear still intact. but that only sometimes works.

hey maxron, how do you think my and my clan feel? we got a HUGE camp setup and were currently trying to find a sniper picking us off one by one, hes got a few friends and they took off with our ural. we got 4 teams in our camp looking for the bastards. unfortunately its part of the game.

clan mate is having the same issue. hes not losing gear or anything, and he can play for about 30 min - 1hr then he gets kicked for this

when will the artifacts be fixed? im tired of being knocked off my ass in NW airfield with my clan, then being spooned by a zombie... anyone know? same thing happens in cherno, green mountain, and you guys know where else.

use DayZ commander, does it all for you. easy as pie.

frankly i agree with OP...i mean, if you're shooter is baiting you "IM FRENDLY IM FRENDLY" then pops you in the face, tahts your own damn fault, but if you're snuck up on and BAM one in the back, shit man, im ALT F4'd the fuck out of there, shit scares the shit out of me. if im snipped, thats a different thing, but seriously, if im trying to loot a hospital and help people and i get shot anways, yeah...im gone.

trust me, i've tried it, i try to find 0/60 or 2/60 servers as much as possible because i really need that early advantage, sounds cheap, but its what i need, and minuets later, even on the 0/60 servers somone joins, usually 1 or 2 people, then another...and another..next thing i know, the server is full, i got some decent gear, im in elektro hospital and....BOOM HEADSHOT. im dead. just my bad stroke of luck i suppose...

i have no clue what guns are hacked into the game or not...so im clueless if i were to pick a "hacked" gun up.

Timezone: EST equipment you currently have: none, just recently killed by a full clip of AK 47 to the face -.-

i understand that there is the whole "don't trust anyone" thing, but seriously? why does everyone have to shoot on sight, EVEN IF im calling out saying "hey, please don't shoot me, im in your firehouse on accident and i'm unarmed with medical supplies" seriously? no matter where i go i just get shot, i can't even play the damn game for more then 10 minuets without getting killed by a bandit, my longest life was maybe 3 hours and that was because of breaking my legs from falling down two STEPS of stairs. anything other then that has been literally 10 minuets of life or less. i think there should be a non bandit/non PVP enabled server HIVE where people get together and fight off the zombies and not each other, but make it a different HIVE system so you can't take the items found in this said HIVE to the current PVP enabled HIVE. like a rookie kind of HIVE, learn the map, get your feet wet kind of thing. i'm not looking to dying in three shots in the back from a bandit from when i first start, i would like a fighting chance, but i suppose the nature of the beast prevents that... i still love the game aside from that, i love the survival, love it all, without its few current bugs of course. and to this point i don't know where im going with this, all in all, i think there should be a PVP disabled HIVE for rookies such as my self then when were ready, we move to the real deal. also to any bandits/on sight killers that read this...please don't be such jerks to people who are begging for mercy before they can even see you, frankly, i would like to help you, and im sure im not the only one.
