May just want to edit this, but Scatterguns are actually not the same as shotguns. They are very similar, however, scatterguns are intended to be a more mobile form of the combat shotgun, with more pellets and a wider blast range.

I've never said I have super sophisticated grammar at all, actually. To be honest, I think your post was just a half-assed rage induced post that only exists to flame another forum member, which isn't allowed. These forums are meant for those who have an opinion to input it. and yet, you imply that our opinion doesn't matter. Giving advice in any form is better than telling someone they basically don't matter on these forums. Lately, one of my friends preformed an update on the motherboard of my new Monitor. Ever since, whenever I play DayZ, the game is completely black, but I can still see my inventory. I can't even press fucking escape, because I can't see the escape menu. It's happened with other games, but never this serious. does anyone know why this is happening? I'll see if my friend can revert the update, because, quite frankly, it didn't help at all, and just fucked up my entire computer. Hell, now that you think about it, this monitor is shit in general. Thanks guys. I know this really isn't Troubleshooting, but I couldn't find any other category for this. If you need to move it mods, feel free. Please tell me if and why it'd need to be moved though. In summery, I'd like to know if anyone can explain this "glitch" of sorts. EDIT-Anyone know why there was a "Gateway error" whenever I tried to connect to the forums for the last few hours? I just joked with myself that it was a diehard WarZ fan, but it was kind of odd, and if anyone knows what happened, it'd be nice to understand. RE-edit: I'm a bean king now. yeeeeee

It's an attack on DayZ by the WarZ fanboys! TBH, I didn't know either. I didn't have a place I could bitch about stuff on, so I felt my sanity slowly dripping away.

I know a social experiment. Strand someone in the woods near NWAF, about 1000M away. Break their leg, and leave them with nothing but Disinfectant. Make sure the barracks in NWAF have a LOT of good loot. Walk out of their field of view, but secretly keep watch on them. Make sure to note whether they take the easy way out and suicide, or crawl all the way over to NWAF for the gear you promised. I'd be quite interested in one of those experiments.

Public servers: Servers that share a singular database. IE your character is saved across EVERY public server Private servers: The opposite of Public servers. They are privately owned, usually by a hosting company such as Vilayer. They only store the data of that server. Usually they are more unique than your generic public server, as they can have mods, or even be Friendly only. Hives: The database in which your character is stored. See Public hives/private servers. Generally, private servers are referred to as "Private hives" Sub-hives: I don't know much about these, but I am fairly sure that they are a community of public hives that can only store the data of that community. Quite similar to a hive of bees, so that might be why it gets the name. Sub-private hives: Same as Sub-hives, but it's a community of privately owned hives. This has got to be the most intelligent post I've made in a week.

Yeah, I think it'd would work fairly well like that. The Vitamin bottle could be used as a vitamin supplement if you can't access fresh fruit. The fruit would rot in your inv if you carried it too long, and you'd need things high in vitamins to stay healthy. Maybe diseases like Scurvy could be added. Also, on a similar note, adding Vaccines as a rare hospital loot item would be nice.

I don't get why people give all these servers bad shit. Sure, it takes less skill to play, and takes away from the overall experience. But, the same goes with being a Vegan at a 5 star restaurant, and they don't get shit-talked because of their choice. You guys need to respect individual playstyles, and not just consistently say "HARDCORE OR GTFO".
