For instance, many people complains about the gfx glitches that dead soldiers make, and sometime wire fences.. and ofc thats good feedback, and if you follow the patch notes, wich i know you are.. from other posts... :D... then you can see that they are trying to fix the problem.. but trying to fix it, can take some times.. cause in games there is usally 100.000's lines of code, if not more.. and to pinpoint a problem can take a while, and even if you find it.. fixing it might cause a whole new can of bugs being opened.. so it can be a time consuming process..

no ofc not.. but sitting at saying ITS IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT THERE IS BUGS IN THIS GAME.. ITS UNPLAYABLE.. bla bla bla.. isnt what i call good feedback.. and im not saying ppl are in this thread, but when you follow the forums a bit you see a tendency that people just go QQ'ing about all small things in DayZ even stuff the developers cant control, for instance hackers..

im not running away from anything. i just wanna have a good time... and regarding the Arma 2 patches, yes maybe im wrong.. but the fact of the matter is. its properly not gonna get fixed.. and besides most computers, as far as i know, is running DayZ or Arma2 for that matter flawless... Some people ( and i aint blaming anyone in particular ) just have some wierd settings on there pc's in general wich makes them lag in several games.. maybe they have changed some settings they didnt understand or what now.. i cant say.. for what its worth.. maybe a DayZ patch will help, but i seriously doubt it.. hence you really cant pin point the problem exactly... and yes i know you posted that fine patch notes thing.. about animals and dead soldiers.. but its not certain that its what causing his problem for this guy.. or many others :) and regarding the "dawg" thing.. you were the one starting out with "you were saying?" and not eleborate it in that post (either then posting some stuff about dead animals. causing fps trouble).. so you must have expected some type of funny / humorless / wierd or angry response...

yes.. but there is a difference in giving feedback, and sitting on your ass QQ'ing all the time.. look up feedback in the dictionary.

if your computer have trouble running Arma2, as it is.. i dont think your nice little post about animals and shit causing fps problems is gonna solve alot :) right dawg?

the biggest problems still lies with Arma 2.. because this is a mod for that game.. You were saying dawg?..

I hope it will fix your problem.. if not try setting the texture resolution down.. the interface resolution controls the actual resolution of the screen, where the 3d resolution basically controls the resolution of the textures. for instance try to run it something like this: Interface res: 1920x1080 3d res: 1440x810 or whatever screen settings you use.. the important thing is the put that 3d Res a bit down.. it will boost your fps a bit. atleast in my experience

yeah you are right, we dont get payed.. and we are also not expected to keep testing.. if you think things suck.. and its unplayable with all the bugs etc.. then just stop playing it ? simple as that

you know the answer to your question or statement is really simple, right? ill tell you... SIMPLY STOP PLAYING DAYZ THEN.. it will apperantly save you for alot of stress and frustration as i can tell from your posts :)

i dont know what all the fuzz is about i have: CPU: i5 2500K series Mem: 8 Gb DDR3 GFX: GeForce 560 GTX wont mention the rest cause it doesnt matter. and i run the game with 60+ fps in full hd res.. 1920x1080 you tried updating gfx drivers etc? could be the problem. i had fps drops in other games, due to outdated gfx drivers?

Yeah ofc, it can be a bit frustating.. when i play with my friends, we often plan a meeting spot in the map. So lets say we have planned to game like 7 pm tonight, then at 7 everyone is at that meeting point.. and no its not hard to find your way to a meeting point if you have a map and some basic navigation skills :) and i also play alot alone. and often die while playing alone. so i have to run far to the meeting point, but its part of the game.. for the record i only play with 2 friends, mostly just 1. and we have fixed several vehicles, we use the method i talked about earlier.. with one guy carrying all the medic supplies food, and guns.. and the other the parts we need, while the other protects.. both guys have ofc a primary weapon

Actually no.... obviously you havent a clue about how game development work... things take time.. when you go down to a store or whatever and buy a game.. a finished game... they have already spent 100's of hours testing it... properly in closed alpha version etc... It just so happens that i was Alpha tester for Battlefield 3, and there was atleast as much bugs etc.. like there is in DayZ.. and Dayz is officially still in Alpha... Even when Battlefield 3 went beta. there was still loads of bugs etc

well... if you remove the hacker variable.. it sounds like you are descriping World of Warcraft.. bro i feel you, but.. the matter of fact is.. they cant do much against hackers.. like i have said about 30 times by now.. the problem lies at Arma2, and the way its build.. and maybe BattlEye.. you could wait for the standalone game.. wich im sure will be more hacker proof... but think about it for a bit.. what else is there to do in a Zombie apocalypse ? then finding gear, killing ppl and zombies.. surviving ? its not like you can go to a strip club.. and regarding the base you talked about.. If my memory serves me right, i think Rocket has said that it could be cool to implement the option to build a REAL base.. but it would be a feature for the future..

I would say no.. because this is a mod to another game.. wich is Arma2.. therefor to improve your FPS, its Arma that needs patching, and i bet that wont happen.. EVER :)

How can there be an end game in a Zombie apocalypse ? you except the US and A to come kill all zombies or something, and then all players go to cherno and buy appartments? :D imo there shouldnt be any end game.. i think it will ruin the game tbh. I like the game as it is.. all tho i also must admit the hackers and duppers is kinda annoying but doesnt really ruin my gaming experience. I just look forward to see what new features etc there will be in the future.. and ofc i look forward to the standalone game.
